If you’re looking to be transported to a little slice of South America , the Argentinian inspired Papa Fuego is the place to go. The atmosphere whisks you away to a Havana inspired speak easy, whilst the cocktail menu will leave you in awe that you have never had such incredible alcoholic concoctions in the past. All the staff are delightful and it starts from the moment you check in at the front desk , through to your host who will be looking after you for the evening. Now if you appreciate the flavours that comes from Spanish/South American cooking - think charcoal , wood fired flame - this place won’t disappoint. A menu that tantalises the taste buds from the entrees through to mains - I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu during my many visits this year ( the recently tried short rib becoming my go to favourite) To accompany any of the scrumptious menus items is a cocktail list ready to knock you off your seat. The highly skilled mixologists behind the bar make your taste buds sing with a combination of spirits and flavours - I’m determined to try each one on the menu but it’s a feat even the most avid alcoholic would struggle to accomplish. - the glassware even adds to the elegance ( I’ve been tempted to sneak one out the door ) For a dining experience like no other in Broome , in fact one I haven’t had in Australia - you must make a booking to Papà Fuego and enjoy the little slice of Havana tucked away at the Continental Hotel, it won’t disappoint

We visited tonight and ordered the Feed Me menu for two. Unfortunately, the experience felt quite rushed. We hadn’t even finished our entrée before the main course was served, and the waitress asked twice; once during the mains and again during dessert “if we wanted a takeaway box”. Although the sitting time was two hours, we finished everything in just 1.5 hours because of the pacing. The portioning also felt unbalanced: the main course dishes already included sides, yet additional sides were served, which resulted in three different potato dishes along with other sides (carrot, corn). We also noticed that no one checked in with us for drinks or feedback on the food. On a positive note, the food was good and the ambience of the restaurant is nice, but overall the service and menu balance could be improved to make the dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable.

💛💛💛💛💛 In Broome, there is a little gem of a restaurant called Papa Fuego. We were a group of 4, having fun trying to read the menu, we ordered a lot of different plates to share. They were extremely delicious! The variety of flavours really complement each other! From the cheese, the king fish and the pork belly to the potato’s, pumpkins, corn and veggies to the lamb rack and short ribs it was extremely delicious. We made room for the classic three milk and the churros with the raspberry sorbet. Omg! This raspberry sorbet was the most delicious sorbet ever! Sadly, it is found in Broome but this is for sure a reason to come back and enjoy all of these menu items. What a beautiful experience!! Totally recommended! Staff was amazing! Splitting the bill was easy! Thank you Papa Fuego! 💛💛💛

Our 15years old girls birthday last night and visit this restaurant hoping we could get good foods. All starters are OK though MAIN was awful. We've ordered "Rib eye on the bone" $59 and a whole fish dish $48 for MAIN. Rib eye on the bone $59 was burned really badly and we couldn't eat. We've told the waitress and returned the dish. The waitress didn't come back to tell us anything about it. The waitress charged $59 when we pay at the counter. The manager came out and told us that "I tasted the returned dish and it is a little bitter, I tell all customers how we cook is like that.. we won't give a refund for the returned dish". I couldn't believe what she said to us. We wouldn't order the dish if they tell us before ordering... Which restaurant charge to a customer for a returned dish? A Whole fish wasn't good nether. If I will pay the amount of main dish for $48, we will expect spot on! the fish was over cooked and no sauce. I was totally disappointed. I will never go to Papa Fuego again. Burned Rib eye $59 was totally waist of money. They ruined our girl's...

Leaving a 5* because 4* seems too harsh, I reckon the current 4.7 is accurate.

Here’s an overview of our experience:

We got the “feed me” menu and there was definitely plenty of food. For us, the best dishes were the skirt flank steak and the short rib.

The service was really friendly, they obviously put a lot of effort into making you feel comfortable and welcomed into the venue.

We had a couple of cocktails, they were great 👍. We got the Rapa Nui and Passionfruit Margarita, I actually wanted a frozen one which wasn’t on the menu but they were happy to accommodate which was really good.

There really weren’t any negatives, but if I’m being super picky the couple of things I’d say are that the food was good but it wasn’t mind blowing and for the price we’d probably prefer a bit less (volume wise) and slightly more explosive flavours. The only other thing I’d mention is that we weren’t asked if we wanted any more drinks, so just ended up having the one.

Overall positive experience and we...
