Came here 2 years ago for the Sunday roast. Wasn't great then. Visiting Broome again, we thought we would give them another go. It's even worse that I can remember. The price for the plate of Sunday roast is ok IF you get a decent feed. Instead you receive some morsels of roast that bear a similar pulled slow cooked meat. Just enough to feed a 12 months baby! Although one helps himself on the side vegetables the choice is meager and not very attractive. Reminded me of my time in boarding school back in the fifties... For drink we had a bottle of sparkling moscato for $21.00 the same bottle can be bought for $5.00 at Coles in Victoria. The only friendly staff really was the barman. Everybody else making their upmost to ignore you. Shame cannot give them less than the star they do...
Read moreThe RSL in Broome provide a good selection of bar-type meals (burgers, salads, fish and chips, seafood basket, etc) for lunch and dinner during the week. Food is very satisfactory quality, it's cheap, and the staff are very good. The dining area is basically a big open-sided shed, so flies and bugs can be a problem, particularly during the day. There's plenty of seating. There's a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available at cheap prices. Club is basic decor, rooved but no solid walls, with a large covered outdoor area.
Small well stocked bat with 2 friendly staff. We were there Friday night - meals limited to fumish & chips, steak sandwich or a meat pack (bbq yourself) with salad.
