We dined here on Saturday night (5 Aug) There were 3 couples & had been told about this wonderful restaurant. I'm happy to say that we all left with full bellies & a big smile on our faces. From the moment we walked into Johny Sausage we were happily greeted by a gorgeous young lady who showed us to our table. She came back with the menu & asked us if we would like water. We asked for bread & we were explained that with the bread comes the complimentary Olives & Sausage. I must say, the little sausages were delicious ( I wanted more!) We all ordered different main dishes but we all commented how delicious they were. I ordered the Rissotto de Mare (seafood), it was fabulous, lots of seafood with an equally creamy flavoursome risotto. Once finished, & deciding we had no room for dessert, asked for our bill. We were pleasantly told we needed to finish with their home made limoncello, which of course, was equally delicious! If you feel like a great dining experience,...

Johnny Sausage is an outstanding Italian restaurant that left me with nothing but praise. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They took the time to guide me through the menu, ensuring I made the best choices for my meal. The food at Johnny Sausage is absolutely amazing. The chef's commitment to using fresh ingredients and their mastery of Italian cuisine shines through in every dish. The flavors are incredible, and each bite transported me straight to Italy. Whether it was the pasta or the perfectly seasoned sauces, every plate was a delightful work of art. What truly impressed me was the impeccable table service. The staff was attentive, catering to my needs throughout the meal. They had excellent knowledge of the menu and were enthusiastic in providing recommendations and answering my questions. I felt genuinely valued and well...

Was recommended to visit here from a friend who visited in dry season. Sounded like we visited 2 completely different places.

For the price we paid for the food it was bland, flavourless and ingredient less. Not at all as explained on the menu. Paid $30 for pasta tossed in olive oil with a few tomatoes and olives thrown on top - I was told the rest of the ingredients were in the sauce but there was no sauce.

Once our starters came out after our mains the Caprese was not at all what was expected or explained in menu and would pay $10 in a standard Italian restaurant.

The barmaid was following up our starters as mains were delivered first as our order must have been lost. Asked for cutlery when she was heading the same way and was told to get my own.

Now my friend has to live with the guilt of sending me to a terrible restaurant where she once had a...

So disappointed. My partner and I came for dinner. For the starters, the burrata didn’t had any dressing on it (no olive oil or something else) so we did it by ourselves. For the main dishes we wanted to have both Raviolini but the waitress highly recommended us the risotto and share our dishes so we did it. (She was very kind and friendly). When the risotto came, there was only 1 prawn and 6 small cut pieces. $38 for a prawns risotto and having 1 piece and few small pieces is really a joke. At least 3 whole prawns is the minimum. Nobody came for a long time so we didn’t had a glass of wine and we decided to leave without having any dessert. We’ve complained about that when we paid but a black dressed waitress was defensive. She proposed us a limoncello, but we declined.

Had our last dinner in Broome last night after a few days in town. The food was not you typical Italian fare, but was amazing. I had spaghetti with Romano cheese. They wheeled a little trolley to your table with a big [originally 100kg] Romano cheese wheel that has been hollowed out over time and the put the hot cooked spaghetti in it and gradually melt the cheese through and serve it up. It was very tasty. We had a twist on calamari for entree which was more like a sauce dish so ordered bread to mop it up and eat it that way. The Torino’s for desert was wonderful and nearly as good as mine haha. I make the best according to my wife. Staff looked after us very well and the setting was romantic. Highly recommend this if you come to Broome.
