This place is extremely cool! 🧡🧡 Small venue and cosy vibe, live music on a Sunday night (but you can hide up the back where it is a little less noisy!), the fireplace brings warmth and atmosphere on a cold night, and a fishing/aquatic decor adds beautiful and unique character! 🎣🐟🐠 🦀🐚🪸🪼🦈🦭🐳🦞🦐 The staff were really friendly and accomodating. Simple menu but done right! ✔️ Not fancy, but definitely tasty!! 🤤🍷 We (2 people) got 4-5 dishes to share, and were not disappointed! I really enjoyed Rodney's Bait 'n Tackle because it's a unique experience! Definitely recommend you check it out, at least once! 😁☺️🧡 We did not try the fish tacos unfortunately, but had food envy when we saw them come out at the table next to us!!! Will have to go back I...

First star 🌟 good location near the train station, easy to find. Second star 🌟 cool decor they have a full size boat in the bar. Very cool. Third star 🌟live entertainment for that area, that's great, the bar is small, so limited seating or standing you can listen to the band whilst you wait in the queue, that does not move until the band is over and everyone leaves. Loss of a Star 🌟 for the door girl, not huge fan of the high and mighty, the staff are not friendly. I'm from Canada we go to bars because of the people who work there, Loss of the overall star 🌟 a place I wouldn't go to unless I was meeting friends there, I certainly wouldn't go here if I lived down the street and wanted a drink, I would go somewhere I felt welcome or...

Just left Rodneys after an AWESOME time dancing to Shangara Jive however was a bit hungry and ordered a fish tacos that I shared with my husband,as I got to the end I can across this long strand of blondish hair ..........I showed the staff and they refunded my money and on top of that they said I could order any other dish that I wanted for free,I was impressed by the manner they handled this.So because hubby had enjoyed the tacos I orded it again we shared it again and behold just as he was about done with his tacos hubby found another strand of hair 👀👀 we didn't bother complaining again but just imagine how we both felt.....totally...

What a cool small bar! We came down about 5pm on Friday evening. It is limited seating so I would definitely try get down early to snag a table. We went during happy hour, so a beer and wine was only $16. Service was great and the glasses were picked up quickly. The theme is great and they have decked out the bar suitably. Even the menu is tailored to suit the sailor theme. definitely recommend coming down here for a drink or two.

Decidedly unpretentious, a nice oasis in Mosman Park. I was surprised with the quality of the food (the burger was especially good). The drink service wasn't the fastest, but they weren't expensive and the cocktails were well made. It's a very casual atmosphere, so a good place to meet up with friends who tend to be late or leave early — you don't need to worry about coming and going
