We went for dinner and we had made a booking. Firstly, we asked the owner if we can get a different table. There were several tables empty and he refused saying they have bookings for those tables , we have booked a table too , pls don't forget that. He refused to make arrangements for it. Didn't make any efforts at all.

Later, we ordered our food. We got starters and veg noodles first. There was no taste at all for the noodles. It was bland, so we returned it back and let it go. Later we got our mains and we had ordered dosa , we received cold dosas and so we asked to the owner to have a look at it and he didn't do anything about it , instead he was arguing with us. And he said it gets cold straight away. Than he offered to remake and the lady there named soni mentioned if u wanna have the same dosa it will take very longer. We didn't wanted to wait for that long as we already did at first. So we decided to leave as they had ruined our dinner time enough.

We said we will pay and leave and go to a different restaurant. The owner charged us for what we didn't even receive and tryied to get away with the situation. Than I went back with the receipt and showed him , that he have charged me for food that we didn't even receive. And he mentioned we have problems with everything. Pls don't forget , a customer is allowed to give a feedback, if something is not right. He was so rude and didn't apologise at all. Didn't show any courtesy at all. Instead he was blaming his customers for giving the right feedback.

I wouldn't even give 1 star to this place. We have been to this place multiple times and it was always the same, still my family decided to give one more chance to them and it was the same experience again. The customer service is zero. The owner needs to learn some manners on how to treat his customers. It was just a rip-off for the amount they are charging. It was the worst food i ever had.Not recommended at all. Food was ok but service was hopeless. I went with friends to celebrate my birthday and have dinner yesterday. I had booked a month in advance but when we reached there, table was not ready. They started setting up when we reached there. This was no problem but I had booked for 16 and the guy set it up against sofa seats with only 6 chairs on opposite side and 2 on end. I said that would be 14 seats. He told me i should make kids sit on sofa side and then it will accommodate all 16. Seriously? You can’t put 2 extra chairs and suggest that we sit as you want us to and adjust 16 people in 14 seats? I refused to accept this so he finally put in 2 extra chairs. I been there 2-3 times before and always found service slow but yesterday was worse. Food takes forever to come but at least bring all food together! For a group of 16 people they were bringing 2-4 naans every 10-15min even when we had ordered them about 16-17. Everyone had to wait for naans. biryani was brought when the rest of the food was finished! Then I had to request 3 times to clear the table and bring the cake. After waiting 15-20 minutes we started clearing the table ourselves to make space for cake as kids were getting upset waiting any longer. We shared the cake plates as we knew it may take another 15-20 minutes if we requested another 2-3 empty plates for cake. While paying the bill, we complained about the service. A simple apology might have done the job but the arrogant response was - it takes time to cook food! ....Really! You can’t bring all the food together after an hour waiting! Spoke to another friend and she had similar reviews. She specifically requested food without any chilli but standard dish with chillis was brought. She didn’t eat but was charged. Why not tell in advance if you can’t cater for special requests. Will never go back again and will never...

Sankalp used to be my go to place for dosa, However, with time the service and the quality of food has started to deteriorate. With time I have always let it go, thinking it would get back to normal. Today I visited it and ordered pani puri and mysore masala dosa. Pani puri ‘s mint water tasted as if they ran out of it and they just mixed it water to make it look full. Same thing happened for the coconut chutney which was all watery so we got it change. We still were fine with it.

The mysore dosa came out to be like you are have papadum and the boiled potato filing was literally rotten and smelly.Also, when delivering the food the lady mentioned that it’s not soft as it was the last one prepared. One of the girl working there was kind enough to take it to the chef and get it replaced, until another lady who seemed like the manager there and was quite rude, I was about to give the replacement order until she came and started talking to me, her tone was really rude. I told her I am happy to pay as well. I left the place leaving the food and didn’t end up adding any other order. She also said she will void the bill for that one dosa which she did, however I told her I am happy to pay, is just that we had to leave because we were disappointed with the quality and service. We paid for the rest of the bill and left. I hope they get this that it’s more about the satisfaction you get eating the food...
