This place used to be ok but now it’s terrible. The older lady there is rude and absolutely miserable. We had sat at the table and she said can you move your kids both to the end, I said no they are sitting on either side of me so I can help them if they need help. She said well if we get busy we will walk up here and past them and they might get burnt?!!?! What!??! Are you dropping food on people now as you walk past??!? The place was not busy there were 4 people in there besides us - it was empty. And you don’t tell people to move their very well behaved kids and if you do you do it with kindness and grace not attitude. Should have walked out then! Food was full of sweet sauces all tasted sugary - nothing fresh and not good seafood - no one puts a chopped up fish n chip shop crab stick into their restaurant food. One sauce was just gluggy thick sweet muck. All the sauces ….terrible! Our usual go to Chinese was on holidays so went here but never again. And when we paid - no smile, no “did you enjoy your meal?” No customer at service at all. I’d...

Until now.
It all started with the free prawn crackers 😍
The Szechuan beef was absolutely delicious—chef’s kiss! The beef paired perfectly with the fried rice, which was a delightful balance of non-greasy Chinese fried rice sprinkled with BBQ pork, decent-sized prawns (with no poop shoot!), and packed full of fresh vegetables. The sweet and salty gravy was the cherry on top.
The lemon chicken was equally impressive. Coated in a light, crispy golden batter with boneless white chicken pieces inside, it was a delight. The sauce came separately, which I loved—no one likes soggy chicken! The packaging was all sustainable and 100% compostable, which I appreciated even more.
Finally, the presentation was top notch, standing ovation worthy!
I’ve officially found our new go to Chinese restaurant!

I contacted the store and to my surprise, I was advised, as it wasn't purchased through them, they weren't responsible as they have no control over what a driver may do, once taken from the shop. I was told to contact Uber for a refund. If I was a partner delivery service, I would boycott this shop.
When I stated I will be contacting the health department and giving them the remaining food to test, he was not at all concerned as again, claiming it passed through someone else's hands. (Uber driver) so, do what I need to do. This was also the reason why he could not offer a refund of the $143 I'd spent.
Admitingly, this is my first complaint in 8 plus years supporting this business but it shows, loyalty...
