I don't have any pictures of what I ate yesterday because I was too focused on enjoying the food! The Vegemite and cheese scrolls were huge and delish, the ricotta donut was uniquely tasty, the fresh cooked meat and veg pastie was perfect, and the carrot cake and cannoli were just the best to take home! (They didn't arrive home complete though, I had to sneak a bite!)

They have a wonderful range of delicious treats, and the people behind the counter were wonderfully chatty and friendly. The lady with the bright smile, glasses and reddish brown hair complimented my scrunchie, my bag, and my socks, which really boosted my mood because I was having a rather tough day! The lady called Taz that served me honestly made me feel like a well known friend, and it was the first time I had ever been in that store!

Overall, I will absolutely return to buy more products from this store, because everything about it was truly amazing. It really does go to show how family run businesses are so sweet, kind, and produce...

So every now and then you find a special place that just has it so right….this gem of a bakery does!!! You truly taste food that has been made with love, recipes passed through the ages all wrapped up into a kind, friendly family working unit.. As you walk in the incredible aroma hits and it so so very easy to leave with more than you intended, not only because everything looks, smells like your in Europe but the actual prices are ridiculous reasonable… This clearly shows a labour of love which is just priceless… The gentleman whom served me was kind and helpful as I really wasn’t sure what I wanted due to wanting everything (even a kind customer gave me his favs to help me choose) but with the classic and a few sweet treats I was happy with my first visit. Seagulls Bakery located in Bayside Shopping Centre, Safety Bay Rd, Safety Bay is our amazing local bakery!!! The locals love it, very apparent when we form an orderly queue from the counter & out the door!! The canollis are amazing 😋 as are the vanilla slices,the danish pastries lots of sweet treats for you to choose from. Oh & then there's the savoury choices pies, sausage rolls & wait there's more..many choices of breads sourdough loaves, wholemeal sourdough is delicious, regular loaves & mustn't forget the many choices of bread rolls. Lovely service, great prices.
