DELIVERY EXPERIENCE ONLY!
Summary: Coffee used to be good but now tastes burnt and sour. Service is lovely. Flat grills good. Pancakes not great but ok for convenience.
I don't know what happened to coffee club kwinana, but they used to do delicious coffee. In the last 4 ish months, however, the coffee has tasted burnt and sour. I have ordered at least 3 up to 5 coffees since, just in case it was a particular barista or just a dirty machine, but every single one had that same burnt-sour after-taste. Tbh I would rather make myself an instant coffee, and will be doing just that once I finish this review.
I only gave 3 stars because their customer service seems amazing for delivery at least. Whoever puts lollies in the bags, sometimes draws on the coffee lids, and occasionally writes little notes on the delivery bags is an absolute legend and deserves a pay rise. Generally, if I am ordering food like this its because I'm either time-poor or having a bad time and those little gestures make me smile every time.
The pancakes I ordered today were not great and probably not worth the price, but it beats having to run down to the shop to try and get eggs in this day and age so I dont mind paying for the convenience. Although, if I were seated in the restaurant and was served those pancakes I would not return for another helping. They were a bit floppy almost like they were soggy - before I poured the syrup on them. Nice and thick, if you like them that way.
The flat grills from this establishment have been amazing in the past (6 months ago ish) and pretty good these days (last time I ordered was about 2 months ago).

Our experience this morning at The Coffee Club in Kwinana was very different. The owner was extremely rude. We had waited 45 minutes for our order as apparently there was a problem with the machine but we were not notified of such and when I enquired about our food the owner turned aggressive. Surely an apology or even a discount was in order. We waited a further 15mins (now 1hr) and then I went up to the counter and requested a refund. At the same time as I was at the counter requesting a refund our order was delivered to my wife and daughter at our table. Almost immediately the waiter was sent back to our table by the owner to collect our food. My wife got up and asked the owner “if they were taking the food back” and she replied ”well you’ve asked for a refund so you’re not getting the food!” Very stressful aggressive response from the owner. Read moreI waited for 30 minutes to be exact to get my coffee and I asked politely to the lady in counter whose name was EVELYN , what happned to my order which she spelled the order wrong...she told 2 medium cappuccinos which I belive it was for someone as there was lot of other people waiting to collect as I ordered only one medium cappuccino.. where she got super agitated and started to argue back.
I requested her to calm down which I told I clearly understand its super busy and we can speak thing no point if getting angry and yes I was surprised to see that attitude as I go to baldivis coffee place very often if they are busy they normally apologise and I respond back it's fine as I can see its crazy busy as u can do anything for it .
I hope u can be more calm , collected , polite next time I will highly appreciate it . All I want is a cup of coffee with a smiling face 🌝
