I would like to address a little problem I have with Dome in Kwinana and im sure im not the only one and feel free to comment your own experiences, now I don't usually get online and complain about a establishment try to make a profit and provide jobs to the community, the franchise holder in today's economy probably don't need the public relations problem however this problem is not with the company as a whole, but with the employee within the establishment for two reasons,
one - Kwinana Dome employee's if you are busy and need time to do the task you are doing, fair enough I understand it can get busy in the service industry however picking and choosing the people you serve, for what ever reason is incredible wrong, especially In this day and age.
Two - This is for the costumers that are reading this as I hope it helps some one in the future, it seemed today (as I can only speak from my experience), the staff member and person being served. Were well aware I was waiting to be served, look im well aware as a customers sometimes we get caught up in our day to day tasks however being a good person is free and takes little to no time out of your day, all im asking is for the next person that witnesses something like this just speak up you could make someone's day and in the end you will still get served.
Please Kwinana Dome employee's im not trying to tell you how to do your job as im sure you have your fair share of difficult customers, all im asking is to not paint all your customers with the same brush and remember working in hospitality requires working and servicing people from all backgrounds, races , beliefs, demographics and financial situations for the sake of the community making someone feel welcome and worthy of being a customer will make a business and keep an employee in a job, but bad public relations will cause a decline in just that and leaves the door open for competition and unemployment.
Kind regards and to a better community...
Read moreComing from a food and beverage background and knowing how customer service has to be top notch, this place has got to be the worst!! Lack of service, atrocious attitude from all the staff; not even a single smile from ordering to being served our order. Can’t even greet or smile at their customers but they could have a laugh about it right behind the counter when someone asks them for a little help or a question. Literally watched my cousin walk to the counter to get her drink because it was just sitting there for 10mins and when she asked for it, one of the staff (probably the manager) wearing all black, spectacles, red hair and a red ribbon tied to her ponytail had the AUDACITY to stare at my cousin walking back to our table. She definitely didn’t look too happy with her customers self-serving their drinks.
Came here for scones and they served jam and dollop cream - when we asked for whipped cream from one of the staff, she quickly dismissed us and said “we don’t serve scones with whipped cream”, when we were only here last week and was served WITH WHIPPED CREAM. When we went to the counter to ask personally for whipped cream, none of the staff were happy but we still got it.
ALL the staffs should definitely go for some customer service training or probably just hire younger...
Read moreWe go here often and they are usually understaffed and ask us to leave so they can close early or can't provide what we want to order off the menu, the staff are usually polite when informing us so no big deal. Today when I went in though every table was covered in dirty dishes, not just a few that could be easily moved but stacked up. We asked if a table could be cleaned so we could sit and were told (quite rudely) they were understaffed today and each person there had specific duties so noone could come out and clear off tables. After standing, waiting for a table some people left so we began to clear their couple of dishes to sit. While my husband did this I noticed 3 staff members standing together behind the counter staring at us and talking (obviously one of their aformentioned specific duties), I'm assuming they were outraged that we wanted a clean place to sit and eat our food. One staff came over and told us (after cleaning off the table ourselves) we would have to find somewhere else to sit. Needless to say we left. The rudeness is what did it for me, I understand being understaffed but surely clearing tables and being polite to customers should be...
