The Coffee Club — Restaurant in Western Australia

After travelling through 4 states of Australia we have been to many cafes & restaurants . Today we visited the COFFEE CLUB Mandurah in WA for a quick breaky before Christmas shopping , We have been to many coffee clubs and always had great service & delicious meals/coffee EXCEPT TODAY AT MANDURAH... My husband ordered our breakfast , both the same only mine were very hard fried eggs as I can't eat soft eggs ( the only way I eat them is very hard fried). Our meals arrived after our drinks , Hubby's was correct with soft fried eggs, mine soft poached eggs. The waitress made out it was my mistake & asked for them to be made again( the cashier said she ordered hard fried for me)...when it came out a second time the same meal came out cold , burnt bacon that was there at beginning and 2 eggs arrive on a paper serviette and plate once again runny fried eggs. So now 1 hour later I get a refund for my meal , hubby is full and I'm still hungry with no breakfast....The manager says I'll talk to the girls and hands me a card for buy one meal get one free ONLY VALID AT MANDURAH...what a joke , I'll never return even for a FREE MEAL....The waitresses were very rude after I asked for a refund and took a photo of the meal served to me....very poor coffee club....I will drive to ROCKINGHAM as their service is fantastic & food...

First impressions were not great - really torn and tired vinyl covered chairs but the table was clean. Staff were pleasant. But then they should be. When the order came to the table I picked up coffee mug to have a taste and it still had a lipstick mark from previous user. I could see it had been through the washer but that stuff stays on and a barista with any care would have seen it making the coffee. The cake slice was definitely not from the glass display counter. It was fridge cold, icing rock hard and the cake inside an overcooked edge bit with the very dark over cooked bits barely cut away.

I should have asked for it all to be replaced but you know what - you should not be served such a low quality effort. I got up and walked away feeling completely bummed and ripped off.

Likelihood of returning less than ZERO. For what seemed to be a well patronised shop - have some respect for your customers...

Ordered big breakfast and 2 coffees. Coffee turned up great coffee. Waited 30 minutes for breakfast not a sign. Meals sitting on counter to go out for service. I had an appointment so left my wife to wait for meal. 40 minutes later a cold buggered breakfast. Should have complained but decided to just leave and so sick of fighting businesses for service. Especially when a staff member stacks clean plates on shelf near service window. Surely someone would take initiative and deliver meals. We weren't the only ones either. Well went back a day later thought ok 1 fault give it another go. Coffee great. Scone was stale as definitely a day or 2 old. Last time I go to coffee club. JB...
