The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill Floreat — Restaurant in Western Australia

A great large sporting pub venue in the suburbs of Perth. Its well decked out with screens throughout, both inside, outside, and in the individual dining booths, although the screens within the booths are rather small!

The food here is exceptional! All of the meals coming out to other tables looks so tasty and as per the pictures on the menu! Impressed, the burgers look amazing!

We visited during a busy AFL game, and the drinks wait when you order from your table was a good 30mins from ordering, and the bar was about 5 deep. It was really busy, but speed up the service of beers and food when ordered, and we would of stayed longer and spent more money thats for sure, but we left early due to the wait on drinks was excessive.

Plenty of options when it comes to food, gluten free menu as well for those that are interested.

Seating options, high and low tables, inside and outside, booth style dining, and large tables for big groups.

Kid friendly, with a playground outside which you can still see from the Beer Garden, so family friendly.

More outdoor heating required, and quicker service on the drinks, other than that, a nice venue, great food, and relative priced drinks, but $16 for a matso's is PRICEY !

Join up and be a member and you get discounted drinks and food from reading a poster at the pub, so if you plan to visit often, it could be worthwhile!

Came today for a Wednesday lunch. I have no issue with a digital menu and ordering on the phone, however I find it unfair, to charge me a higher price for a burger and drink, because I selected it through the standard menu and not clicking on the lunchtime special. I know with many other online ordering services I have used that specials are automatically added at checkout. After ordering our drinks arrived fairly promptly, and I was informed the steak I had ordered was sold out but the cheaper rump was available and was I ok with the substitute. I said fair enough, but before I could ask what would be the solution to the $6 difference, the waitress had gone.

Steak and burger arrived a time later. Steak was well done, ordered medium rare, badly under seasoned and tough as guts. The $3 add on for a garlic butter sauce was a joke, a smear of cold butter with what tasted like jar garlic granules, not pleasant and cold butter on warm steak doesn’t really cut it as a sauce. My partners burger was apparently dry and bouncy, and for $26.90, not even close to ok.

With 2 pints of soft drink our meal was just north of $90, and we left feeling ripped off and unsatisfied.

Unless there is a game on or some particular reason to come here, I’d definitely...

Food is always consistently good. Not great, but the parmas, ribs, wings and burger are what you would expect. At least they offer a few salad bowls which is nice.

Kids meals have pretty good variability plbut some of the options bump the kids meals to $16 which are on the steeper side.

Lots of sports screens and good atmosphere if a main event in, otherwise it just feels like a suburban pub.

Unfortunately, the service here can be really inconsistent. Sometimes the wait staff can be super attentive and other times you are utterly ignored despite eye contact and subtle waves. I have noticed a few times the waitstaff can also completely forget things and you have to follow up on multiple occasions (eg kids icecream….have taken it takeaway twice after waiting over half hour for it despite multiple requests). Shame really, as this place would otherwise be an above average pub, but it really sinks the vibe when you are constantly having to follow...
