Treendale Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

Usually my wife and I visit coffee club because we love their eggs benedict with bacon, but we have both been hearing great reviews about Treendale Cafe for a while now, and seeing as they are much closer to home for us, we thought we would give them a go. We were not disappointed - Very nice Eggs Benedict with bacon, eggs were perfect, and hollandaise sauce just the way we like it, comparable to coffee club. The frappe`s were better, very creamy with no crushed ice filler and also the staff were welcoming, happy, smiling and had great manners which was a massive breath of fresh air 🙂 The prices were also better so another bonus. The only improvement I could see is the plastic chairs are not the most comfortable to sit in, there were a couple of sofa seats but they were taken. But we will definitely be back here for our regular Eggs...

My first time here it felt as though the lady was very dismissive and ignorant. The manager seemed very busy, which good on him, but I wished his workers would pick up the slack. Or maybe have a designated worker just for the register because the lady who does the coffees is not fast enough to be taking orders and making coffee. As I was standing and waiting for my order to be taken, I even asked the lady “do I come to you with my order?” And she said “yup just wait” so I did. In the time I waited, two other customers got served ahead of me by the manager, while I was still waiting for someone to take my order from 10 minutes ago.

I’d love to go back just to experience the food and the drinks but unfortunately I did not experience it this time as I left for the Treendale bakery where I got...

The Eggs Benedict and Smash Avo were absolutely spot on, perfectly cooked with beautifully runny eggs and freshly toasted sourdough. Both dishes were packed with fresh, vibrant flavours, the texture of the Smah Avo was more like lightly whipped, very impressed. The two oat milk cappuccinos were rich, full-flavoured, and comforting. Despite how busy it was, the service was warm and efficient, and the food came out quick. An all-round fantastic experience!

As a side note, the smashed avo was easily the best poached egg dish I’ve had so far. While the Eggs Benedict was flawless but the Smashed Avo stood out with its extra layers of flavours and textures. No complaints at all, both dishes were perfect.
