Well, my friends, let's talk about the infamous Treendale Farm Hotel in Western Australia, a place that boldly claims to be the best pub in the entire region. Now, when you hear such a boast, your expectations naturally skyrocket, and you find yourself eagerly anticipating a culinary adventure like no other. But alas, sometimes reality has a way of knocking the wind out of our sails. And it seems that the Treendale Farm Hotel might have stumbled a bit in their quest for greatness.

I can feel your disappointment as you recount your experience. The buffalo chicken wings and prawn tostada, touted as stars of the menu, arrived at your table in a less-than-satisfactory state—cold. Now, my friends, we all know that cold dishes can be the death knell for any dining experience. The flavors become muted, the textures lose their appeal, and that excitement we had hoped for fizzles out like a damp firework.

But let's not dwell solely on the negatives. I've heard whispers that the Treendale Farm Hotel boasts an impressive outdoor playground, a veritable wonderland for the little ones. And that, my friends, is a saving grace. It shows that they care about creating an environment where families can come together, enjoy a meal, and provide a space for the young rascals to burn off some energy. A smart move indeed, for it's a rare joy to find a pub that caters to both the young and the young-at-heart.

Now, my fellow wanderers, disappointment can be a bitter pill to swallow, but it's not the end of the story. As the great culinary adventurer that I am, I implore you to consider giving the Treendale Farm Hotel another chance. Reach out to the management, share your experience, and give them an opportunity to make amends. After all, even the best of establishments can stumble along their journey.

In the world of dining, my friends, highs and lows are part of the tapestry we weave. It's in these moments of disappointment that we truly learn what an establishment is made of. Will they rise to the occasion, learn from their missteps, and strive to deliver the greatness they claim? Or will they falter and remain mired in mediocrity?

So, my friends, let the Treendale Farm Hotel know your disappointment, but keep an open mind. Perhaps your next visit will yield a different tale, one filled with culinary delights and warm satisfaction. Remember, in the ever-evolving world of dining, surprises abound, and sometimes it's those second chances that lead us to unexpected moments of culinary brilliance.

Safe travels and may your future gastronomic adventures be filled with flavors that dance on your palate, service that warms your heart, and memories that linger long after the plates...

In regards to Treendale Farm please don't take this as a very negative review however more of constructive criticism in regards to the timing service of the food. I attended today with my father after raving about our last visit and was disappointed in regards to how long it took for our meal. My father ordered the Pork Belly and was served first however after waiting ten minutes asked staff about when my husband and my food would be served. Five minutes later my husband Fish and Chips came out and then just under five minutes my Barramundi arrived. Unfortunately the serving size was extremely small and minus some ingredients. Basically I had to wait 20 minutes after my father meal was served to be served my meal which is not acceptable in the restaurant industry. What I did observed was the chef appeared to be making all the hamburgers, steakburgers, pork belly, fish and chip at the same time hence they were being served at different intervals to other patrons on the tables. People did not appear to be be served as per their table rather than what the chef was cooking at that particular time. Now I am aware recently opened 2 months ago however this also occurred at Christmas time and I was prepared to accept it as a teething issue but two months later and after similar reviews the chef needs to sort his timings out. I did raise this matter with staff and the manager dealt with my issue appropriately. Personally I attempted to send as an email however it seems this was the only forum I could raise my complaint. Having said the above I will praise the staff on the way they handle this matter and it also appeared I was not the first person who has complained about the same issue. Staff appeared very friendly (5 stars to them) and both my father and husband enjoyed their meal. I will come back again however I hope the chef looks at how he prepares and...

Rocked up, and the place was full of guests, a sign that we're in for a great afternoon. Fantastic play area for the kids of all ages. Mains were delivered very quickly and plentiful. We decided to try out the desserts 2 cheesecake and 2 sticky date puddings. Unfortunately after 35 minutes still no desserts so returned to the counter and a guy went back to check on them. Then another lady came to the counter and she too went to check. The original server came out and told me that they are working on them now. I replied no worries as long as it's not going to be another 35 minutes. He promptly came to our table with the cheesecakes 2 frozen rounds with a dollop of ice cream on the side and a squirt of cream and explained the others will be here in 5 minutes. No, he came straight back with the sticky date cold cake cut from a slab cake with the butterscotch sauce congealed on top of the cake. Thank goodness the ice cream on the side was edible and the mains because the $56 i paid for the deserts certainly wasn't. I would have been happy if the server had have said look i forgot to put your order in would you like me to put it through the kitchen now or would you like a refund? I'm sorry, I made a mistake and I take full responsibility for it instead of delivering what he did and leaving this as our last impression of the Hotel. Everyone and Everything else was amazing. My daughter enjoyed her...

Interesting place. Outside area looks great for kids. Food was good. Came out quick. All ages, was great to see. Some young ones abit "on their way out", not ideal with little kids around.. staffs shorts were abit hungry.. but besides all that, nice joint.

Decided to finally give the treendale farm "hotel" a try and unfortunately were quite disappointed. As we walked in there was a substantial lack of atmosphere (the rose hotel and eaton tavern are amazing yet have the same owners as treendale farm. Not even one smile or hello from any of the staff at The treendale farm hotel!!! 1st up at 5pm and not busy it took 30 minutes to get our 4 meals out (kids burger and 3 x steaks). Part of the steak was exceptionally salty like they seasoned in the middle only. Ordered medium well done steaks but they were not... one was pooling with blood as it was quite thick and undercooked. Chips and salad were delicious. The bar... waited 10 minutes just to order 3 basic drinks (Pepsi, water and a fanta) there were 3 bar staff on but didn't seem to know what they were doing at all, they passed orders around each other ..they did not seem organised what so ever (I spent 15 yrs working in hospitality so I am aware how things work and should be done). Unfortunately the farm lacks atmosphere... tbh it seems like it's popular as parents seemingly dump their kids in the play area and go off to eat and drink (Not surprised given the area / how important drinking is to many). Plenty of car parks. Definitely will not be going back.
