Our social group booked a ball night here. I think the staff were overwhelmed by the sheer number of people who attended and drank/ate. The grazing board that was prepared had plenty of fruit but not enough cheese, meats or sushi to sustain the 200+ people who were drinking this night and unfortunately no other food was available for purchase. The minimal staff numbers struggled, while the guys did the best they could. Within the first hour they had run out of RTD drinks which made the bar service even slower. We're a pretty understanding bunch overall and as more mature aged people (for the most part) we are pretty understanding. I'm sure this has all been communicated to the venue and I'm hoping in future if we go here again a lot of these issues can be sorted with more staff, more booze and more food.

Enjoyed the vibe! Been a few times the pub, casual punchy atmosphere with a good music. For two persons, had a Mediterranean pizza and two cups of ginger beers at $30 with student discount. Pizza was in a good size and taste OK. Seats indoor & outdoor near Matilda Bay. Visitor Carpark $2 per hour. Recommend it.

The customer service here is absolutely amazing. Please guys, show this to your manager and make him buy you all the next round!

I've been here during uni, for a 21st, and for a wedding and each occasion was amazing.

What made me especially happy and finally prompted this review, was the effort staff went to find a lost bracelet of mine (sentimental bracelet) - they went way beyond expectations.

Another thing to note is that they have a safety system in place for anyone feeling threatened - what great initiative guys to look after customers and the young students who would frequent this tav.

Very very good atmosphere. Went here to watch my friend's production and thoroughly enjoyed not only the show, but the food and drink too. Bar staff are not only capable but friendly and helpful. Ordered salt and pepper squid and a margherita pizza, both splendid. The salt and pepper squid was not too salty and not too harsh with the pepper, worked very well.
