Ariel's Warrawong — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Long story short they have now lost 3 customers. No customer service. Sat at the table for ages, no one bothered to come and ask if we like to order. Ended up having to chase up orders.

A Friend ordered a LARGE chocolate shake and basically got a small cup of basically plain milk. Maybe a smidge of chocolate flavouring if your lucky.

Two of us ordered schnitzel, chips and tiny bowl of salad. The schnitzel was dry, especially with No sauces at all to accompany it, no parmesan cheese, gravy and no lemon. The handful of chips had no sauce either. A 10 year old could do a better job.

And since no staff bothered to offer sauce, and we had to chase up for it, by asking for some Mayo or Tomatoe sauce, the woman, whome I presumed to either be the cafe owner or main kitchen chef, pulled and immediate stink face as if I was asking the world off her! $34.95 rip off. She blurted out KITCHENS CLOSED twice at me! WTH. Too hard to grab a bottle of sauce 😂

And we still didn’t get that sauce. 😂 need hospitality training and better customer service and not be so stingy on sauces...

Food was good but they need to improve service. The menu said Schnitzel with chips or salad. This is not expected as typically come with chips and salad. So my wife asked for the chicken schnitzel meal expecting a meal with chips and salad. The staff member asked do you want a side of chips? My wife thinking that she meant in addition to the chips and salad said no. no receipt was offered. What came was a schnitzel with no chips and salad. So she asked the server. The counter staff, came out was clearly annoyed and showed it. My wife was polite. We got the salad. The extra star is because an old guy tipped over backward and really came down hard. Food was cold! Sourdough was not taosted! And spinach was not wilted! Eggs were under cooked too much clear slim on inside. We both got mushrooms my partner hates mushrooms. I mentioned straight away the 2nd plate was mentioned to have a hash brown and not mushrooms.
