2nd visit tonight and only ordered dessert as a takeaway as it was the only thing i really loved last visit. It was definatly alot different. It was deconstructed which i thought was great so ice crean didnt melt but they had forgotten my chocolate sauce so had to go back for it anf the brownie seemed smaller than my previous one i had dining in. My friend ordered a steak, chips and ceasar salad. As per all the other people i visited with a few weeks ago he also didnt like the undressed ceasar salad which was just lettuce, parmesan and croutons so he threw this in the bin, the chips wernt great and the steak had quite alot of chewy fat. After being here twice i would really only rate this 2-3 stars as you really dont get what you pay for. Customer service however has been 5 stars all round!
First visit I had a great meal besides entree but everyone else dissapointed. Our server was amazing but food could have been better . I Ordered 3 courses. The entree was cheesy chips $14 the serving was huge and with the cheese and bacon it felt really heavy and oily so we didnt eat much and i wouldnt order again. For main we ordered sirloin steak with ceasar sald and chips and no rules chicken pasta. My husband didnt like the chips and his steak was fatty when its mean to be lean meat and was smaller than expecting, ceasar wasnt dressed, his not one to complain so just ate half of his meal. My no rules chicken pasta was nice and finished with a chocolate thunder dessert which was the highlight of my meal! I loved it was a good size and lots of sauce and would definatly order again. Outback steakhouse wollongong is nice but it is also cramped and very loud. I usually go to penrith and each time you get table bread which we didnt recieve at this store and neither did anyone else around us so not sure if it depends on the store or not. 5 out of 6 adults had steak here tonight and every single one of them was dissapointed in the sizing and fattyness for the price. they all also had ceasar salads which half wernt eaten as it was just lettuce, cheese and a few croutons. also $3 for a tiny few teaspoons of gravy is pretty bad. In saying all this it was still an alright meal but some wasnt worth the money...

Read moreWould give 0 stars if I could. Very bad experience at this Outback Steakhouse. My partner and I entered the restaurant at 5:45pm on a Sunday, were greeted at the front door. We were unfortunately given an undesirable seat immediately to the left when walking in, which we were okay with given we didn’t have a booking. We sat down and had to endure a wait of 20 minutes with no attention from the staff, we asked one of the staff who said he would grab someone to take the order, that never happened.
We then had to order on the QR code (mixed grill), we would’ve preferred some actual service given the price point here of $64 for a mixed grill. We witnessed the wait staff greet other tables shortly after they arrived but no such service for us. We had to battle to get a bottle of tap water, again we saw drinks and food for other tables who arrived after us. We waited until 6:45 being a whole hour after arrival and there was no food in sight, the supervisor provided us a free garlic bread that was stone cold. We then asked for our money back, the supervisor then gave our money back however did not apologise and advised we hadn’t received attention as the restaurant was busy, I countered that by saying other tables near us had received service, drinks and beverages prior to us even though they entered after us. Really bad experience compared to Outback Steakhouse Glenwood which has outstanding service and it’s a real shame that this restaurant has dragged down the franchise. We then went to the McDonald’s next door as we starving...
