Went to KFC on a Friday evening and discovered it’s like a bad nightmare…once I was in the car park it was impossible to escape! The lineup for drive thru seemed to have no end (and very little movement), so I thought I’d do the smart thing and find a park and go inside to order. Major mistake! Not only was I faced with the realisation that you have to place your order through some sort of touch screen, if I couldn’t do that there was no other option! Moving forward, after placing the order and waiting almost 30 mins to receive it, I get in my car and into the line of traffic in the car park, where I have the thought to check the order. Great, they got it right…but what I couldn’t understand was why it was stone cold. They had so many customers, everything should have at least been hot. Whilst still sitting in the line of traffic, I decide to call the store manager…or more to the point, the manager on duty. After hearing her flustered voice, im sure she was all of 17 or 18 yrs old, I realised it wasn’t her fault, she was just having to deal with annoyed customers because her employers don’t give a damn. To cut a long and frustrating story short, the manager was quite apologetic but definitely overwhelmed. So I guess my real complain’t would be to the franchise owner or the actual store manager. Why, when your store is obviously busy and obviously making a fortune, do you insist on having not enough staff? And to make matters worse, other than the duty manager whom I did speak to, who seemed was very polite but obviously overwhelmed (and I’d say overworked), any other employee seemed to be all prepubescent kids. It’s obvious your huge profits happen only because you prefer to pay for child labour. Might I suggest you stop treating your customers as fools, fix your car park, employ people mature enough to cope with the pressure and employ enough staff so that your customers don’t need to put aside an hour to grab some takeaway and your staff aren’t so...
Read moreKFC is KFC right? I’m reviewing the venue, not the food. Firstly, the design of the facility sucks. If you park to go into the restaurant, either to dine in or order at the counter, you’ll find carscars queuing for the drive through have blocked you in. Even if you manage to get out of the car spot, driving out is a nightmare as the exit is through the drive through! Secondly, 3 times out of the last 5 items I’ve ordered have been missing. Once through the drive through. This necessitated, pulling in and experiencing the car parking shenanigans mentioned above. Second time, I caught it at the time of delivery. Last time, ordered inside through the touchscreen. The girl who called out the initials had a a major attitude - how difficult is it to call out initials ? Then, as I’m walking away, I note my soft drink is missing. Walk back and ask for it

Read moreMy brother and I called in there for lunch today as KFC is a favourite for both of us. Walking in the store we were subjected to music blaring ... Ok I thought but not professional and it is not a club ? We ordered and there wasnt a problem with the staff at all , quick service and polite. Got our order and decided to eat in , looking for a "clean" table and chairs we could not find. We found the cleanest of them all sat down and started to take note of how filthy dirty the store was ! There was rubbish and dirt on the floor swept into piles then obviously forgotten about , plus the broom and tray left right in a pathway leading to the tables near the front window ( OH&S issue for sure !) we were then looking at empty tables and chairs around us and every table and chair was dirty and greasy ! We looked around at all the furnishings , windows , counter and all absolutely disgusting ! I have eaten in a few KFC stores and found them all to be very clean .... Not Fairy Meadow ! I dont know if the staff are all too young and have no idea , havent been trained properley but the store manager leaves alot to be desired I must say. I will never return to this filthy dirty store .... Pick your game up...
