Star Kebab House — Restaurant in Wollongong City Council

Terrible service, very unfriendly man. Was craving chicken snack pack so went to get my fix. I ordered a chicken snack pack he didn’t ask what I wanted on it. So I kindly told him what I wanted and requested grilled onions he said okay. Guess what No grilled onions, he put them on raw. Then when I went to pay he charged me $23, I said your sign says $21, he said that’s for beef you got chicken so an extra $1 and then an extra $1 for cheese. Sorry when is cheese ever not included in a snack pack! I paid him the $23 and left. I feel like he ripped me off I am a young female, but I won’t be back or recommend this place. Absolutely the worst Turkish roll I've ever had. The "Turkish roll" in question was just a cheap roll you can buy at woolies in a pack of 6. Nothing authentic about it whatsoever. $14 for a basic roll with barely anything on it. Could easily make 3 for the same price with much more ingredients on it.

The meat was lukewarm at best, old mate clearly doesn't want to be there and didn't wear any gloves. There wasn't even a hint of washing his hands before handling food after getting off the chair probably scrolling Facebook.

AVOID this place! Better off going next door to Dominoes and...

I wish I had read the reviews before eating here....but how bad can a kebab be? Pretty bad. The server used his bare hands to build my kebab, the falafel didn't taste fresh and was chewy...only a drop of their watery hummus....and loks like there is a lot of cross contamination happening here. Health inspectors should make a visit here. I had a few bites and then unfortunately had to throw it out. What a waste. How can a place like this remain open with no improvements after all the previous reviews?...
