Nice place with a garden. A shame we waited over an hour for our food (small order of a couple of sandwiches, nothing out of the ordinary) while the place was half empty. Staff were non-responsive to our requests to clean the table which had been left dirty by previous guests. Our drinks were long finished by the time the food arrived. The meat patty was black as charcoal and not edible- we asked to cancel order & refund as we didn’t feel like waiting another hour for sloppy food. This little corner shop/cafe is a hidden gem in the Illawarra in St John's Avenue Mangerton. The coffee and food is delicious and they have a great menu to choose from. I had the Bruschetta which is a light and delicious but filling meal paired with a flat white. There is a lovely outdoor garden area where tables and chairs are shaded by large trees. What a wonderful little gem of a corner store. Amazing coffee to die for food and service with a big smile and "Good Morning". The courtyard is just gorgeous sitting under the big trees.
