ZERO STARS!!!

DO NOT COME HERE!! DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE my friends and i are from out of town and thought the cafe looked quite nice so decided to dine in. we were a table of 3 and had 2 other friends join us later. we ordered coffee and food. Drinks came out after a reasonable amount of time… food on the other hand AN ACTUAL JOKE!!! the chef does not know the meaning of the word cleanliness not washing his hands, eating over customers food and walking around the cafe doing nothing!!!

after waiting AN HOUR FOR A SANDWICH we alerted staff and they didnt know what we had ordered and we scrambling to make our meals we had waited long enough.

when we asked for out money back, they tried to argue that the chef was and i quote “bombarded by orders”!!!

the cafe was practically empty! Really disappointed by the attitude of the staff and the level of professionalism. They tried to argue over a refund and gave us the incorrect amount!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Will be warning future friends NEVER...

The Giddy Goat offered us a very delicious and beautifully presented breakfast, coffee and smoothies. The food was obviously fresh, hot and flavoursome. Coffee scored a 9/10. Service, however, let them down. Disinterested service staff, with no personality or sense of humour or self awareness is what dragged down our experience. I approached the front counter with a smile and "good morning" only to be greeted with a straight face and "what can I get you". Our food order took a l o n g time to arrive. At the 25 minute mark, I went to the counter to enquire, politely, how much longer we would need to wait, as one of our party was due at work soon. My asking was met by one person with confusion, and indignation by another. As I said, the food and drinks were unfaultable and we all enjoyed our selections. Great coffee and love their bacon and egg roll deal. This quiet little coffee shop is located in the idyllic Keiraville village with ample outdoor tables...but don't be disappointed if you have to wait for a table. Having made my positive comments, as a reular customer, there are a few issues. The staff are less than friendly. Indeed, it seems an effort for them to serve and take orders. My final comment is the overall cleanliness of the food preparation area, counters and tables is quite simply not up to scratch. A visit from the Council health inspectors might be a good incentive...
