Just had the worst chips ever. Not the first time I've had stale chips from KFC WoyWoy. Today's chips - even though I asked for a fresh batch - were at least 15 mins old on top of chips that were around half hour old - at least they tasted that way and chips usually taste as old as they really are. I've worked in the fast food industry and cooked hamburgers and chips for a living so I know what fresh chips straight from the cooker should taste like and I know what stale chips look and taste like. This store needs to pick up their act and if a customer asks for a fresh batch then ask them to wait round the corner or come into the store and damn well cook them a fresh batch. Also a little less curtness with customer service please - when a customer phones to complain and after you have addressed their issues before you abruptly hang up after a hurried insincere sounding sorry ask them if there's anything else they neeed help with and then after another heart felt apology and a nice comment like have a nice evening - then you can hang up. I've worked in the frontline of customer service in many different types of job and your customers should be treated and spoken to with respectful caring and genuine concern. It's not hard especially if you care about doing the best job you can - otherwise you should be in a different line of work and move over for those who might have pride in what they do and how they do it! I rarely complain and in fourteen years of frequenting KFC WoyWoy I think I've only ever complained about something once before though I often have reason to complain on a regular basis. Plus, Whoever is training the staff at this store and overseeing them also needs some training urgently because they are not doing a good enough job either and you've either been under trained yourself or you don't care enough either. Working at KFC may not be the ultimate career job and you may not even like it at all BUT be thankful that you have a job and take some care and pride doing the best job you can no matter what the job - be the best you can be and always strive for more - it's good...
Read moreI've upgraded my reveiw. Wasn't going to give this store another try but was encouraged to by my son's Dad and was pleasantly surprised in a huge change in quality. Everything was fresh tasted good, and napkins and moist towls included. Couldn't fault anything this time. Seems management have lifted their game considerably. Well done.
Original reveiw Can I start by saying I usually love KFC. But this one is really disappointing. Both visits received dry chicken must have been sitting around in the warmer for hours or just poorly prepared it tasted old. I assume the kitchen is not very clean or oil not changed regularly. I have ordered here twice now, both times terrible. Also, does it kill you to ever put some napkins or wet towls into the bag! Every time I get KFC no wipes, this is something across the board at all KFC's, but it's worth mentioning because it's not good enough to sell fried chicken and not supply any napkins. Serving fried chicken and not providing wipes is about as slack as you can get. I'd like to see the management of this KFC do better. I know you mostly employ kids but get them to take some pride in their job. In comparison to KFC Miranda, it's just sad and disappointing. Don't waste your money. Read moreThe first thing that struck me was the overall messiness and dirtiness of the place. There was trash scattered on most tables, which gave the impression that the staff hadn't been keeping up with cleaning duties.
However, one positive aspect of my experience was the young gentleman who served and took my order. He was well-mannered and friendly, providing a pleasant customer service experience. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the young ladies who were serving the drive-through customers. They were extremely rude, and their unpleasant behavior was easily noticeable and audible while I waited for my food inside the store.
On the bright side, the chicken at this KFC location was fresh, which is an essential aspect of any fast food restaurant. I appreciated that my take-away order was complete, with not a single item missing. It's always frustrating when you receive an incomplete order, so I was glad that KFC got that part right.
Overall, the messy and dirty atmosphere, coupled with the rude drive-through staff, did leave a negative impression on my visit to KFC in Woy Woy.
