BRGR SPOT — Restaurant in Yamba

How this place scored above a 4 rating on Google and Trip advisor is beyond me. I rarely write reviews, but this warranted one because if I would have read a review like this that came recently we wouldn’t have wasted $60 here in the first place. My wife had a breaded chicken burger that was 90% breading and then something brown within that breading which didn’t resemble chicken. We left a majority of her onion rings because they were undercooked which we asked for a box originally thinking we would take some home. My steak sandwich was underwhelming at best but the sweet potato fries were ok even though I had to spend an extra $2 just to get some dip because $25 dollars for the meal I guess does warrant any. We should have known when the food came out so quick that it would be lack luster. Normally I would have no problem sending food back but we just weren’t in the mood tonight and voicing our disappointment to a bunch of teens working here probably wasn’t going to be...

Over the years have had Brgr spot quite a few times. In recent times I have seen a decline in quality of burgers and service. Our most recent experience was disappointing again in that 1 of 7 burgers ordered was not in our order and this was not discovered til we got home. I tried several times to call but 3 times has no answer, twice went to message bank and once put on hold only to be hung up on. When I went back to the shop I was refunded without question and apologised to for the error. I also suggested that all takeaway burgers should be labelled as they never are, even specially ordered burgers. Customers have to dismantle their burgers by hand to try and identify which burger is theirs which I find a bit yucky...

If I could give a zero I would!! 3 weeks in row you ring to order food well before their closing time to be told there is no food left ?!? And they are closed .. closed at 7.40pm when your website states 8.30pm because you run out of food & it’s not even tourist season the town is quiet!! Then get spoken to like utter rubbish by a staff member then she hung up on us !!! We have spent lots of money here most Saturday nights as a treat, we will no longer be supporting this business & at almost $80 for a couple of burgers & chips we will give it to a business in town that stays open for its customers and does not run out...
