Wow wow wow! Very unassuming place but our food was delicious. Our host and the staff were wonderful and friendly. I went to pay later and saw the kitchen and the chef working like a one armed paper hanger getting the food out on a very basic setup...damn legend! So I had the grilled sardines...cooked to perfection and divine with a wonderful salad and real Turkish bread. My partner had the braised octopus with Turkish bread and loved every gooey mouthful ( I snuck a taste and it was wonderful) Our experience was a real experience...wonderful food and truly hats off to the whole team and especially that chef working so very hard. Only word of warning is they only take cash but there is an ATM about 30 metres away
and again, two months later..kabooom...touchdown!!! Lunch of Sucuk ( turkish beef sausage) on a bed of hummus with salad and pickles and sourdough...lip smackingly good. My partner had a prawn pasta which she said was fantastic. Again, the food matters and is cared for a delivered accordingly by lovely warm smiley( But not syrupy) people. Totally...
Read moreFood was nice. Interesting menu and tasty however slightly disappointed with the service. I ordered milk on the side of my coffee. I had to ask a further 2 times for it to be brought out. I asked for some water for the table roughly 3 times also. When it was finally brought to the table my father and i were already ready to leave as we'd finished our meal and coffee.
I went to pay only to find out they don't take card. In this day and age card is more common than cash, so if a business doesn't accept card it should be displayed obviously and advised to the customer.

Eating out comes at an expense, but people pay the money with the expectation of decent food and a good customer experience, otherwise what are we paying exorbitant prices for to eat out? As I said, food was quality, staff weren't impolite, I just found the service and experience to be somewhat...
Read moreMy ex gf wrote a mean review of this place under my name and I only just found it online. I can't delete it for some reason so I'm editing it to reflect my opinion. The only problem with this place is that it is super busy and popular so you sometimes have to wait for a table and those tables might be juggled a bit. Maybe the manager doesn't always grin from ear to ear but why should she. Let's stop telling women to smile and just enjoy ourselves.
Ex-gf: We went on a Sunday morning to have a relaxing time. The coffee was great and food OK, but the service was horrible. The manager was very harsh and rushed and treated us like we were an irritating thorn in her side. She also insisted on moving us mid meal to another table so she could sit another group. We were almost finished and she should have just told them to wait five minutes. Pity about the service because it was quite...
