The Bake House Yamba — Restaurant in Yamba

Deep within Coldstream Street lies a Pie Shop that is worthy of Holy Pilgrimage.

On the Menu today was a Holy Trinity of: (1) Brisket, Beer, & Onion Pie, (2) Lumberjack Slice, & (3) Double-Shot Cappuccino.

Three Pie Priestesses performed the Holy Sacraments in preparing each offering: freshly gathered from the finest of ingredients. Each offering was placed on a polished wooden bench outside, which served as the Holy Tabernacle for the feast ahead.

The Pie was encrusted with a majestic Onion Ring, that melted into the soft cheese & buttery pastry, combining with chunks of juicy lamb.

As the early morning sunlight pored down onto Coldstream Street, my taste receptors were awoken from a deep slumber. I realized that I had not tasted a Pie of such magnificent perfection since very long ago.

The Lumberjack Slice was a tasty side, but the memory of the Brisket, Beer, & Onion Pie will be cherished for a long time.

Never feel the need to do a negative review. Most places we are delighted where we’ve eaten 😊. However, this time we were so disheartened after reading some good reviews about this bakery. First time purchasing pies from this bakery. Both of us were dissatisfied with the curry and chicken mornay pies. After two bites, the pies were thrown in the rubbish bin. We’ve never bought pies in our life to be disappointed enough to waste our money by not finishing eating them. Left hungry and drove to another bakery where the pies were...

Very nice! Cheese and bacon pie absolutely won me over. Traditional old school high level quality. All 3 of us all got different pies and thoroughly enjoyed them. Fluffy on top and sturdy underneath. Custard tart 10/10. Caramel tart with fresh cream and Kit Kats on top. We almost didn’t get but the lovely lady serving encouraged us and said we wouldn’t regret…. And we didn’t.
