Rice to Meet You — Restaurant in Yeppoon

This sushi place deserves 6 stars, not five! The sushi is absolutely the best I had in Australia, the rice is properly cooked and is only a thin layer around an incredibly generous filling, the salmon and avocado are always very fresh and I also like small details like the black sesame seeds between the salmon and the rice.

If possible, the service is even better than the sushi. I know, it's just a kiosk, you don't have much interaction with the staff, but every time when we shop there we are welcomed by a courteous smile, the service is fast and efficient and even if we don't shop there very often, the guy at the cash register always recognize my wife and he already knows what we would...

A little confusing if this place is in business to make money or not? Called there Saturday afternoon @ aporox 2.20pm & was told we are close no more sushi & then I asked why? Was then told we are cleaning up ready to go home! Absolutely disgusting! Got 4 rolls made up fresh. The fresh salmon tasted like it had been out of the fridge for hours, the rice was gross too. Won't be coming back here, hoping we don't get sick.

Edit for the owner's response: We had them takeaway, returning to the shopping centre was not feasible as we had our young child with us. Besides, there is no fixing bad sushi and while I would accept a refund I certainly wouldn't accept a credit for somewhere that served...
