Juicy Lucy’s Cafe — Restaurant in Young

Although staff were friendly, there were 3 issues I had .. 1) Charged $16 for snitzel and chips, which should have been $12 (without salad); 2) seafood basket with salad and chips but only had roughly 10 small pieces of chips, for $19 !! ... 3) No water !! When told the water cooler ran put of water, was supposed to get some tap water, but was NOT forthcoming! ... i understand times may be tough but this was quite disappointing!

EDIT : following reply from the proprietor, I accept the $16 was simply an honest mistake ... on reflection, I should have been more precise at the time that salad should have been part of the $16 deal ... all up, Juicy Lucy staff were friendly and the restaurant was nice...

Stopped in to order some bacon and egg rolls for our crew working who are working in Young for a couple of months, ordered Deluxe Bacon and Egg rolls for all and even had them delivered to site.

Was the quietest Smoko I’ve ever heard from this crew, too busy stuffing faces. Guys and girls were wrapt and will no doubt be back to order more. Am expecting to see them return to Newcastle several kilos heavier after making their way through the menu!

Great service, awesome food, fantastic coffee, and quick delivery to site piping hot and fresh.

What a lovely little cafe with great service. Mum had something off the all day breakfast menu. I just had a snity and chips but didnt leave a bite. My little fella had some nuggets and chips which includes a juice box and it was a delight when the kids meal arrived first (we all know how long kids take to eat) with a little lollipop for after. :) definitely will eat there every...
