Q Mee — Restaurant in Eisenstadt

Rude attitude and barely acceptable food.

(Editing as a response to the owner's response).. We ordered 3 dishes, salmon poke, tofu kimchi poke and nigiri sushi (shrimp). Nigiri sushi was the worst, the light brown color rice did not stick together. Not particularly tasty and non-sticking characteristic was a big minus for sushi rice. As soon as I put my chopsticks on it, it crumbled and shrimp fell off. This sushi rice might be considered as a novel attempt in utterly unsatisfactory way. Salmon poke was the best among these three dishes but just good enough. The tofu kimchi poke was too sweet for a main dish. Eating them all was simply taking my money value where it was possible, just filling my stomach. However it did not imply any satisfaction in quality.

One star would be too harsh with these food items though. Probably 3 star is more appropriate when only food was considered. One star is the result of bad serving attitude. The old lady there did not greet when i entered. I briefly said hallo. She gave me a hard look of disapproval or contempt, not sure, but at the least, I felt rejection in her look. After that she ignored me as a guest throughout the whole time including when i paid with cash (with some tip, not much but any penny was a waste) as she rejected card payment and the moment I left. When she gave some change to my friend instead of me who actually paid, I uttered some complaining words due to her attitude. She didn't respond but I thought she at least noticed it. The owner's response saying that she was surprised by my review just tells me how unattentive and ignoring she was. Maybe the fact I ordered in english affected her ignoring attitude but that did not explain her initial unwelcomimg and overall ignoring attitude. Das Qmee in Eisenstadt ist für mich ein Ort der Freude und des Genusses. Es ist nicht nur ein Restaurant, sondern ein einzigartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist beeindruckend vielfältig und von höchster Qualität, was es zu einem wahren Paradies für Feinschmecker macht.

Das Fusion-Konzept, das saisonale Zutaten in die Gerichte einfließen lässt, ist eine brillante Idee, die das Essen im Qmee zu einem wahren Fest für den Gaumen macht.

Was das Qmee jedoch wirklich auszeichnet, ist der außergewöhnliche Service. Die beiden freundlichen Damen, die das Restaurant führen, behandeln mich stets mit größter Höflichkeit und wissen in der Regel schon bei meiner Ankunft, was ich zu trinken bestellen möchte. Dieser persönliche Touch macht jeden Besuch im Qmee zu einem wahren Vergnügen.

Really tasty homemade food! The restaurant opened recently and is full with local people spoiling their taste buds with something completely different. Try some salmon teriyaki with rice or noodles, or kimchee rice with shiitake mushrooms - excellent.
