Bel Ami Fulpmes — Restaurant in Fulpmes

I write again this review to be more specific. I went to the restaurant in the afternoon. First of all we waited almost 10 minutes for someone to bring the menus. The waiter could not speak english not even a little. The menu doesn’t have much diversity in terms of food. It is VERY OVERPRICED. I ordered Chilli Cordon Bleau, the dish was recommended by the waiter so I thought it will be good. It took about 40 minutes till the food arrived. I got salad instead of the french fries and the salad bar looked pretty bad and did not look fresh. The Cordon Bleau just wasn’t good. The portion was big but the quality was bad. For 20€ I expected to like the taste but I was disappointed. I can find better food in a cafeteria. So the food was terrible and now was time to pay. Guess what? We couldn’t pay by card. Ok I understand the wi-fi was not working because of thunderstorms blah blah. They should’ve told us from the beginning. We didn’t have cash and we were forced to go to our airbnb grab some cash the come back at the restaurant and pay. Worst experience so far in a restaurant. Very expensive for the trash food and i would rather eat at Lawasch Kebap much cheaper and so much tastier😋. It felt like a complete scam at BelAmi Please avoid...

I had a wonderful dinner and experience at Bel Ami in Fulpmes. I found them online and was hungry after looking through their menu. It's a beautiful, cozy restaurant with a patio that makes you feel like you're sitting in a garden. I went at night but during the day with the sunlight it would be even more lovely. My meal was delicious with quick and friendly service. They offer large portions so you feel you're getting your money's worth and they also have very reasonably priced specials on specific days during the week. I started things off with a local beer and salad that I built from the salad bar. It was really tasty and a perfect start. They have lots of popular Austrian dishes to choose from as well as chef inspired dishes made with local ingredients such as hand picked mushrooms, cheeses and meats. I highly recommend Bel Ami to anyone who wants to have an authentic Austrian...

So after reading some of the other comments I was kinda off this place, but through might as well give it ago.

Well worth it all this talk about smell, waiters, food load of rubbish. Waiter was funny and although couldn’t speak fluent English he gave it his best shot. Good was amazing, big portions. Left a tip and it was a good laugh. Couldn’t say much about the atmosphere as was the only ones there due to being 1600 but people started to come in as we left. Didn’t cost a lot. Was more then happy swapping out sides to other things like rice etc.

Would have got 5 stars but had to pay in cash because states. “Storm” but from other reviews they have always said this. Needs to make people aware before arriving as could ruin a good meal.
