The place itself is a surprise, inner atmosphere is almost poor. However, service is just great, waiters are friendly and helpful. Foods are extremely extremely good! ALL of THEM! Das neue Batzenhäusl wirkt recht modern und für Badener-Verhältnisse auch recht innovativ und experimentierfreudig - zumindest was die Zapfsäule betrifft: neben Stiegl gibt's Guinness vom Fass und auch eine "zweite Leitung" mit saisonalen Bieren (gestern war diese aber noch nicht "besetzt"). Etwas schade, das Guinness kam schlecht eingeschenkt und das Glas war nicht bis oben angefüllt, schmerzhaft, insbesondere wenn man einerseits weiß wie dieses Getränk in Irland (und Irish Pubs in AT) serviert wird und vor allem auch deshalb, weil in der Karte von einem "Pint" die Rede ist ( 0,57 Liter sollten das sein). Essen eher die üblichen Gasthaus Klassiker, war gut. Service zwar sehr freundlich aber auch nicht nicht über-aufmerksam, ein Service-Schnitzer kam hinzu - man servierte zwei Teller ab während am Tisch von anderen Leuten noch gegessen wurde - unangenehm. Toll ein neues Lokal in Baden zu haben, ich werde wieder kommen - nach oben da und dort noch ein kleines...
