I'll just start by saying that this is the BEST North Indian food I have had outside India.

The taste of the paneer curry was just perfect and made me nostalgic the moment I took the first bite. The Garlic Naan is also very good.

We were staying in Puch and found out this place as we wanted Indian food. Even if the place is newly opened, it just has an amazing ambience, great staff and ofcourse the tastiest food. We went back to this place again during our visit from Puch to Hallein as the food was worth it.

The owner and the staff are really amazing and helpful. The first day I was not able to find the place due to a slight wrong location on Google Maps, the staff was very helpful to route me to the correct location.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Hallein 🙌🏼....

Parking on the river side in Hallein can be quite a challenge. That’s why we parked at the Pernerinsel lot and quickly walked over the bridge to the restaurant.

There, we were warmly welcomed and immediately found a wonderful table. The restaurant is located in a charming old building and exudes an incredibly cozy and romantic atmosphere.

We started with the delicious lentil soup as a starter, followed by the sensational butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Every dish was a delight and exceeded our expectations!

Since we were just passing through and had a few hours of driving ahead, this restaurant was truly a lucky find. We are already looking forward to returning the next time we’re in the area!

Das Parken auf der Flussseite in Hallein kann eine echte Herausforderung sein. Deshalb haben wir am Parkplatz Pernerinsel geparkt und sind schnell über die Brücke zum Restaurant gegangen.

Dort wurden wir herzlich empfangen und fanden sofort einen wunderbaren Platz. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem charmanten, alten Gemäuer und strahlt eine unglaublich gemütliche und romantische Atmosphäre aus.

Wir starteten mit der köstlichen Linsensuppe als Vorspeise, gefolgt von dem sensationellen Butter Chicken mit Reis und Garlic Naan. Jedes Gericht war ein Genuss und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen!

We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant thanks to its great reviews, and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious and authentically Indian. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and truly satisfying.

Just a heads-up: the spiciness is at true Indian levels, not adjusted for milder German tastes, so be sure to ask if you prefer it less spicy!
