Viet-Wok Restaurant — Restaurant in Hallein

Came here for dinner with my husband. The restaurant is clean and noise level was not loud. We ordered chicken summer rolls and each of us had beef pho bowls. The chicken summer rolls with the peanut sauce were good but the rolls were really small. The broth to the pho bowl was very light with minimal flavor compared to other Vietnamese cuisine I’ve had. Even after squeezing lemons and adding the chili paste/pepper, it was still lacking. For almost 15 euros a bowl, it did not have enough noodles, broth or beef. But if you’re looking for a snack, this is the place to come. And again, every restaurant has their own style, I recommend to try their other foods but this wasn’t for me because...

Sind auf der Durchreise auf das Lokal gestoßen, da dieses sehr gute Bewertungen hat. Unser Fazit: Essen gut & schmeckt frisch zubereitet. Einen Besuch wert, wenn man kein Leitungswassertrinker ist ;-)

Portionen im Vergleich zu unserem Stammvietmesen in Linz leider kleiner, aber war ausreichend. Preislich dafür ca. 1-2 Euro je Portion günstiger Mein Mann & Sohn trinken vorzugsweise Leitungswasser. Sie hatten dieses auch bestellt. Laut Kellner gibt es jedoch kein Leitungswasser in dem Restaurant, sondern nur stilles Mineral zu trinken. Wir waren 5 Personen, die aßen & tranken. Kellner sehr freundlich. Für die Kinder gab's sogar einen Schlecker.

Mich wundert die Aussage des Betreibers bei einem Kommentar weiter unten, dass man nur dezitiert nach Leitungswasser fragen muss, dann bekommt man eines. Wir haben dies getan, aber es hieß es gibt keines. Eine Klarstellung des Betreibers hier wäre für die Kunden sehr hilfreich!
