The staff is very friendly and the ice cream is both delicious, and well priced (considering it's locally made). Bonus points for the pricing transparency with the Eiswaffeln - most places will simply serve those things without a word, and people not familiar with the system will not have a clue that those are billed extra. It's a very sketchy thing to do and I'm very glad that they are upfront about the pricing there! If you're in the area, definitely consider dropping by. They only take cash, though, so if you don't have any, there's an 🏧 around the corner.

Cocktails u. gut sortierte Weinkarte Illmitzer Provenienz. Die Mehlspeisen kommen von der burgenländischen Bäckerei Naglreiter. Zu empfehlen ist die Kombi Kaffee u. Mehlspeise um 5.30 €. Sehr freundliche Bedienjng. Und wenn mal zuviel gegessen haben sollte, die Heilquelle mit heilender Wirkung auf den Magen u. Darmtrakt ist gleich vis a vis.

Grundsätzlich: Wer im Seewinkel auf einen italienischen Kaffee-Standard hofft, wird eine Aneinanderreihung von Enttäuschungen erleben. Hier gilt nach wie vor: Häferl bis kurz unter den Rand auffüllen ("die Kundin will ja was kriegen für ihr Geld!") und dann mittels Milch, Schlagobers und Zucker trinkbar machen. Für eine Tourismusregion besteht hier dringender Aufholbedarf! Zum Lokal: 2,90€ für einen Espresso der Kaffemarke Schärf, noch dazu aus einer Industriemaschine, ist verwegen! Dazu die scheinbar unausrottbare Spekulatiuskeks-Plage... Tipp: die Konditorei Karlo vis-à-vis hat zwar Bio-Kaffee, der ist aber weder geschmacklich noch preislich (Espresso: 2,80) eine Alternative. Pluspunkt: E-Ladestation für Autos: gleich ums Eck (2 Ladepunkte vom Typ 2). Gratis-Tipp: youtube-Video zum Thema "Espresso zubereiten" anschauen und Kaffeemaschine vom Fachmann...
