. i went alone. (I'm one of people that check the review of a place before I come, 8/10time, I do....)
.when I arrived, a waited for a while, then a young waitress ( maybe the head) came to my service ( all the time, an elderly waiter was just starting and going back and forth.. then I waited more cos my table was not ready even if I call n arrived after 40mins... . the place has almost 5⭐so I was expecting them to behave as the review says... . some say that its popular cos it's an old building( not sure) n others says cos of the traditional typical food they make there ( not all are traditional.. )
. far from the center of Innsbruck, but was lucky cos my hostel was a few walk from there ... . better u book o call the restaurant before u go... ( but a family was given a table without booking, while I was waiting )
.the stuff being soo friendly as written in the review..., didn't see it ... my waitress smile was soo false.. kind of funny to me (as if she was treated to smile or else u fired kind of smile ) only another waitress passing smile, like a really nice one. ( only lady that smile a nice one)
.food quiet big( read it from the review)so wasn't that surprise....
.prize was too expensive... since the food was not to kill for..( just ok..) only thing I liked was the strudel.

Having shown the specific line on the menu card, the waiter thought we wanted 'large beer' and not a radler. He didn't even offer to change it. Read moreHaving been voted in an Austrian nationwide Falstaff Schnitzel voting as number 7, I probably expected too much. Despite the Veal Schnitzel being very tasty, I was slightly disappointed mainly because of 3 reasons: 1) The Schnitzel had too much fatty parts, 2) it was not as thin as I expected a Veal Wienerschnitzel to be, and 3) the Ketchup was not from Heinz and gave it a slightly strange taste. Additionally and for my taste, it tasted slightly oversalted.
What really saved a 4-star rating is the Eierlikötiramisu. The best and most delicious...
