My gf and I came to this restaurant without a reservation and we were turned away because there “weren’t any available seating”. At the last second we were seated at a community table bar and felt a little betrayed knowing there were open tables. No matter. We ordered wine and water. 10 minutes later two women came into the restaurant with no reservations as well and were offered a table in to seating area along the main road at a 4-person table (gf went back there to check). My gf and I looked at each and whispered “what the heck?!?!”. As you can see from the photo, there is plenty of seating. Another low point while at dinner is my meal was an incorrect order that I was served. We will never come here again. The food is very good and the atmosphere is stellar. The service is very terrible and it seems the waiter staff are very prejudice who they seat in the restaurant considering they turned a mother and 2 children away for now having a reservation. There is a family 5 seated to my left.

I looked forward to eating here on our holiday. The first waiter that took our drinking order was very friendly but sadly I received my glass of wine with wet feet. Sure, I used the napkin to clean it. But also the refill during the main course I had the same. I prefer not to drip wine on my clothes when I take a sip. We had mains and dessert. The Thai curry with Peking duck was good, I really enjoyed that. Then I ordered the Exploded Lemon cake for dessert and was a bit surprised what I got. So I overlooked it came with cotton candy but that's okay, I like that. But the pieces of lemon cake were covered with green pesto. To me this was no combination at all at I scraped it all away from the lemon cake. I give the Winelounge 3 stars since the main course still was very nice and the staff was friendly, but also didn't notice some minor things, also the flooding feet of the two wine and missing info on the dessert that to me should've been on the menu.

The food was great for me, but both of the items my husband wanted was sold out. He did get the octopus and he loved jt. We both had a wine flight- one red and one white and the wines were fantastic, especially for the pour and the price! The Apple strudel was one of the best I’ve had and the ice cream too. Didn’t like the table we were sat at- my husband and son are tall so it wasn’t comfortable for them and the table was small so had to ask for our table to be cleared of dishes a few times and my chair was wobbly. That’s the only reason I marked it down. Doesn’t deserve a full star marked down, wish I could give it a 4 and a half star. Would go back and hope my husband could try the items he wanted.

The restaurant was too expensive and the waiters just said the restaurant is closed even after we had booked a table, the waiter just looked at us and said they can’t give us any table ! There were no restaurants around open so we asked them if we can atleast order a take away then the waiter just said he would give us the take away after the restaurant is closed like after 10pm, we all were Asians, so it meant like the waiter was being a racist so he didn’t allow us to dine in or anything! We finally had a table to dine in and the food was not worth the price at all! It was too expensive and very less in quantity! Above all, the experience is worst and we paid money for this bad service! I really hope people like these grow up! We pay money for the service and the food! It’s the restaurant’s job to treat us and welcome us good which you guys failed to do. I hope you...
