I’m sorry to write this, but I have never experienced such treatment from a waiter before.
We arrived at the restaurant and found that no one was there to seat us, so we chose a random table outside. After some time, we were ready to order and patiently waited for a waiter to come over. We noticed the restaurant was quite busy, so we were understanding, even though we were very hungry.
After a long wait (20 minutes or more), a waiter finally approached us. I asked for a Margarita, and he replied, “One minute, I’ll be back.” However, many minutes passed, and we saw that people who had arrived after us were being served.
I was disappointed, so I went inside to find our waiter and reminded him that he had said it would only take a minute. In response, he almost shouted, loud enough for everyone around to hear: “I have only two hands! Can’t you see there are other people?” Everyone looked at me, and I felt humiliated.
I told him I understood he was busy, but he could have simply said it would take 5 or 10 minutes, which would’ve helped manage expectations. He became visibly angry, came to our table as if to take our order, then said, “Then wait 5 more minutes,” in a rude tone, and walked away to another table.
At that point, we decided to leave the restaurant.
This happened today around 14:30. You are welcome to check your video surveillance to verify...
Read moreWe were yesterday here. Ordered pizza Hawaii and Marinara (with Sea food cocktail). We were aware that the pizza is big, BUT it is first of all anti sanitary to bring pizza that is bigger than the plate so that you can’t cut it. Cutting it was only possible if the part of pizza was already on the Table. Not everyone likes such size of pizza, many may consider it bad manners if you bring them a dish larger than a plate.
Food:
Pizza Hawaii had only several pieces of pineapple and ham, everything else was just tomato sauce on the bread.
Pizza Marinara was brought to the table late. Reason: it wasn’t cooked enough and fell down, so they need to redo it. When it finally reached our table it was watery, as if someone spilled the glass of water on it. While waiter was putting it on the table, some water with fat from this pizza spilled on my dress! (Now I have to pay 16 euros for dry cleaning)!
I have a lot of experience of visiting other places of Italian cuisine where people are not thought of as pigs, that the larger the size the better, even if you have to eat from the table. This is a deception of customers, the pizza has the same weight as everywhere else, it’s just rolled out to...
Read moreAfter experiencing a robbery at the Ralph Lauren store in Parndorf, we were left shaken and disheartened. However, our visit to L’Osteria Parndorf offered us a much-needed escape and turned into a memorable experience filled with warmth and kindness. The ambiance was wonderful, the food was excellent, the bathrooms were clean, and the bar provided a wide selection of options. Yet, what made this visit truly special was meeting a gentleman named Tino and his daughter, whom we felt were gifts sent to lift our spirits during a challenging time.
Tino, a local with whom we had the pleasure of chatting, turned what could have been an entirely somber day into a heartwarming encounter. Without our knowledge, he generously paid for our meal, an act of kindness that reminded us of the goodness in people despite the upsetting incident we had just endured. We hugged him and his daughter before they left, feeling incredibly grateful for their presence.
Despite the loss we faced, Tino’s gesture restored our faith in humanity. We truly hope to welcome him and his daughter to Turkey one day. I wish everyone the chance to encounter such beautiful surprises and...
