Wow! I posted and gave really good reviews and glowing recommendation to the Rox about 5 years ago. Well, the place has changed, but not in a good way. Walking in there is really no one to seat you properly, or even ask where you would like to sit. Most of the times it's so loud with the music playing or they have a football game going on, Which in both cases, it's loud. In my case me and my partner we did not want to sit in an area that was full of footballers watching the game because it was very loud we just wanted a nice meal in a quiet area . After telling the waiter this, he proceeded to guide us to an area right in the middle of all of the noise. Luckily a bartender by the name of "Elaine" , after seeing our face, took over and showed us another area that was quieter. She was very pleasant, kind even if that wasn't her job to do this. It would be another time when "Elaine", would step in to help us. The waiter for us, was probably new and did not really know the function of taking an order. A majority of the things he got wrong or misunderstood. Things such as, the correct drink to bring, or the meal having some food products missing. When we asked the waiter over, not in a mean way, the waiter acted as if he had an attitude, Elaine quietly stepped forward to remedy a situation that the waiter and his superiors couldn't quickly. They replaced the food "that was missing" from the order, but seemed condescending and dismissive when brought to the table. The food was not that appetizing. So you would think that attitude of the waiters would be better. Elaine the bartender is the hero of this story. And the only reason why I would give Rox another chance.. She should be promoted. She was attentive and kind and swift to remedy a situation, not only for us, but also for other guests as we watched her. Even when it clearly wasn't her job description. Rox get your wait staff (except Elaine) in check because people pay alot of money in...

1.. It is a nice comfortable place. 2.. The food is great, I think it is good quality. 3…cocktails and good drinks
❌ Negative things 1.. I visited the restaurant with my fiancé on 21/06/2025 around 12:30 am We were understood by a very friendly brunette girl.
A short waiter with a short beard and a black shirt approached us.
On two occasions he insistently asked for our order, to which we replied that our order had already been taken.
After 5 minutes I decided to go to the bathroom by surprise, I met the waiter at the main entrance, I asked him for the bathroom.
When he was leading me to the bathroom he asked me three times, "Are you Latina?" "Are you Latina?" "Are you Latina?"
I asked him why he was asking me that kind of question. He remained silent, smiling. I turned around to head to the bathroom, and this waiter muttered that he ! didn't like Latino people!.
It was so strange. I felt harassed by that waiter. I didn't say anything to my fiancé because I didn't want any trouble. I just told him I wasn't feeling well and that I wanted to leave this place.
I'm from Belgium, and this kind of attitude from employees is inappropriate and disrespectful to the public and customers.
Maybe you don't like your job, but that's still not the right behavior or image for a restaurant like 🚫 I can only say that I felt harassed and disrespected by...
