Platzhirsch-Alm Schladming GmbH — Restaurant in Politische Expositur Gröbming

Normalerweise vergebe ich keine Rezessionen für ein Restaurant, mache dieses Mal jedoch eine Ausnahme.

Alles in allem kann ich nur davon abraten, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen, wenn man auf der Suche nach hochwertigen und schmackhaften Essen ist.

Wir verbringen schon seit 15 Jahren im Winter und sowohl auch im Sommer unseren Urlaub in Schladming/Hochwurzen. Wir besuchten am 20.07.23 Nachmittags die Plathzirsch Alm auf ein Bier, und haben uns erkundigt beim Wirt der auch sehr gesprächig und nett war ob man Abends auch Essen kann bzw. ob man Reservieren muss darauf Antwortete er mit einem nein , weil nicht viel Los ist. Wir kamen dann um 19.00 Uhr an und freuten uns auf ein Gemütliches Essen (obwohl wir im Hotel Halbpension gehabt hätten). Meine Frau war schon etwas skeptisch weil wir außer 6-7 Personen die nur was getrunken haben die einzigen Gäste waren die was Essen wollten. Ich habe gesagt das das schon Passt das ist das ist ja immerhin die Platzhirsch Alm… dann haben wir doch was Bestellt ich habe den Wirth noch gefragt ob es nicht besser ist wenn wir einen Burger Essen und nicht eine ich zitiere; Platzhirsch Schlachtplatte (ab 2 pers.) Rauchig – frische Spare Ribs, Pulled Pork, gebackene Hühnerstreifen, Pommes frites, Wedg-es mit Käse, Cole Slaw, Sour Cream, Chili Barbequesauce, Tomaten-Dip bestellen, darauf antwortete er das das kein Problem ist. Dann kam die Platte, eine Katastrophe Wedg-es mit Käse und Pommes nicht fertig Gebacken, Pulled Pork nur Matsch nicht definierbar was das war und der ober Gau war das die frisch zubereiteten Spare Ribs noch roh waren. Wir sind selber vom Fach und ich stehe seit über 35 Jahren in der Küche an vorderster Front aber ich habe noch nie so ein Essen serviert bekommen, (und auch nicht ausgegeben) und da ist Essen noch höflich und gut ausgedrückt. Wir haben auch den Vollen Preis bezahlt, daß aber für uns nicht mehr wichtig war, wir wollten nur schnell weg! Last das Kochen bleiben, im Nachhinein war es klar das nichts los war, wir werden das Lokal ob Sommer oder Winter nicht mehr betreten. Convenient and nice location, placed right next to the start of the slopes and they offer both seatings inside and outside. Great vibes and quite relaxing bar and the staff are dressed in Lederhosen and Dirndl. The staff seem a bit unorganized since we were asked three times in 15 minutes if we had already ordered - which we had, and we also were almost given food that were someone else’s. But hey they offer karaoke, events in the evening and other fun things. A big minus is that they do not accept card unless it’s above a certain amount which they do not really advertise. Apart from this an okay place to enjoy a bier after skiing before heading elsewhere or...

The food was good and the bar is located right in front of the ski(winter) / bike(summer) lift. Excellent!

After a long day of sports we were happy to sit down and get some refreshments. The waiter rudely told us to move our bikes, and to put on a shirt (I can understand the last one, but not the way he said it). When confronted about his way of communicating he arrogantly brushed it off.

Slightly against our own will but with hungry bellies we ordered food here. And the service slowly got better during the evening.

Off to a bad start but left...
