We were looking for a restaurant in Sankt Gilgen on a Monday of August and found this place. The restaurant from the hotel in front were very rude and did not want to attend us but luckily there was a table here. The service was very friendly all the time, spoke english and the food was also good! There was not a big choice of dishes but everything we ordered was nice. Terrace was in the shade...

Heute sind meine Frau, mein Kind und ich in dieses Lokal gekommen. Es war der Geburtstag meiner Frau und wir wollten etwas Leckeres essen. Ein Hostess empfing uns und bot uns einen Platz an. Wir nahmen das Angebot an.

Später lief ein zweiter Hostess an uns vorbei und sagte auf grobe Weise, dass wir auf eine Einladung hätten warten müssen. Wir erklärten, dass wir bereits einen Platz zugewiesen bekommen hatten, und fragten, ob wir etwas falsch gemacht hätten. Er antwortete uns, dass wir uns nicht ohne seine Einladung an den Tisch setzen durften, weil er hier der Chef sei und nicht der andere Hostess. Wie wir wissen sollen, wer in diesem Lokal der Chef ist, bleibt eine offene Frage. Meine Frau spricht Deutsch, der Hostess verstand sie gut, aber als er ihren Akzent hörte, wechselte er plötzlich ins Englische, was sehr seltsam war.

Mein Sohn fragte mich: 'Warum müssen wir gehen?' Ich konnte ihm keine Antwort geben, weil ich ihm nicht erklären kann, dass das Brunetti Bar-Cafe-Restaurant der schlechteste Ort in St. Gilgen ist. Zuerst wird man eingeladen und dann zum Ausgang verwiesen.
