Food: Good. I had Tafelspitz and my partner had deer cooked in a red wine sauce with spaetzle. I must say I preferred my partner's dish but that is more a matter of taste rather than quality of the cooked dish.
Service: Great. Everyone with interacted with was courteous and friendly. Good recommendations were offered for wines to pair of food.
Ambience: Very good in the summer. It was a hot day, we had an outdoor table, the garden was lovely and the tranquility from the hubbub of St Gilgen was palpable.
Price: Not cheap but not expensive. It was a treat meal rather than a celebratory dinner.
