Had lunch there yesterday. Waitresses very friendly.
Aperol Spritz was alright and cold.
Our homemade iced tea was good and refreshing at the first sip. But then it turned into some sugary sweet brew - not pleasant. Might be that the artificial sugar mixed into the tea? It had some weird taste to it. Not even the kids finished it.
Soup of the day was a mystery too. Let's call it instant soup, or very thin broth. With noodles or Backerbsen.
Surschnitzel came with (supermarket) fries instead of salad, as we wanted. And the Schnitzel was actually good!
If I tell grandma that I payed almost 10 euro for geröstete Knödel - she would never talk to me again. But one of the kids wanted it .... and didn't like it after the first bite. It was not even bad. But could have been a bit tastier. Some herbs could help out. Size wise it was enormous, impossible to finish. Came with a sugary, lettuce salad, if you like sweet salads.
Waiting time (and to find a waitress) to get the check was quite time spending...
The place is "okay" and for St. Pölten...
Read moreFlieger Bräu is a charming Western-themed restaurant with fewer than 30 tables. Its location in the heart of Lower Austria's government district makes it particularly busy during evening hours, when many professionals unwind with a beer or two after work. The pub offers a diverse menu featuring both traditional Austrian dishes and Western-oriented cuisine. The "Chevy Burger" is particularly noteworthy and one of my personal favorites. The service staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. On one occasion, our food arrived nearly cold because they wanted to serve the entire table at once, but after a brief conversation with our waitress, we were offered either a discount or replacement meals. Overall, Flieger Bräu is an excellent venue for casual drinks or a satisfying lunch or dinner experience.RetryClaude can make mistakes. Please...
Read moreIt's a really nice place to spend the evening with some friends. You get everything from a wide variety of beer to alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails and non alcoholic selfmade drinks. You obviously can get sodas as well. The food is delicious and it doesn't take too long to be served. The dessert is selfmade and the waiters and waitresses were happy to tell you about the allergens. Also the staff is really helpful and kind. You usually don't have any problem to find a parking lot and you also don't have to pay for it. I got to say, that it's a bit pricey but if you are willing to pay slightly more than at McDonalds, you will not be disappointed with what you will get...
