From 5 stars to 1 (actually none) in 5 months...... No idea, what happened, but let me tell you. Crispy finger food: 1 prawn on it, but okay. Not okay, that my son spit it back on the plate and I saw what's inside. Looked like crab meat. Had many prawns in my life, but never seen something like that. The 2 (two!) "knusprige Zwiebelringe" were the opposite - soggy, like uncooked, no crisp at all. Chicken fingers: The "knusprigen Hühnerfiletstreifen" from the other starter are EXACTLY the same as those ones, interesting..... Heavy batter crust and an intense curry seasoning underneath (no chicken flavor anymore) trying to cover the bone-dry chicken inside. No moist, no tender. If I want messed up chicken, I make it myself. From a professional chef in a restaurant, I expect something better. My eldest son thought he was eating fish... On top of it, all the chicken pieces were only lukewarm anyway. Parippu soup: Lentils present? Maybe for the colour. As well only lukewarm temperature. Soup! At least soup should be warm, no? And for the taste, they should call it ginger soup. That's the only distinct flavour I sensed. Oh, and my taste buds just remembered the yellowish, fully outgrown, old and woody parsley floating on top. Inedible, sorry. Avocado chicken bowl: Who does not like a cosy avocado dish? But let me describe this dish what we got. Quacamole was warm. Warm! How this could happen, is an absolute riddle for me, seriously. Avocado wasn't ripe - the chewy supermarket type. No matter, because the onion overpowered anything else anyway. That strong onion taste indicates usually that it has been sitting a few days too long... Soggy and whimpy Mango pieces, that would not have lasted another day. Same the green salad. Cucumber part cold, but bathed in pure vinegar! And dill overkill. And because it rhymes too: rice like ice. From the fridge. Cold. Chicken part - guess what? SAME as on the other two dishes. Do they only have one way of preparing chicken in Sri Lanka? My wife told the waiter that the whole thing was cold as f*ck (not the Quacamole) and she replied that this is how it is - and that it would say that in the menu. But it does NOT - so they even lied to us! My wife's second glass of wine took foreveeeeeer to come. The missing fork never came - even though asking twice... Ice tea alright but not recommended for diabetics. Environment: Chilly! Yes it's November, but heating would be nice. The 2 women next to us ate with their hats on! We were the last table to checkout that day. The bill still took 2 lifetimes to arrive (asking 3 times for it). And the hefty price - for what we got, is not acceptable. Did I mention the dirty napkin? --------------------------------------------------- 1st review from 5 months ago: Great find in St. Pölten! Very friendly staff, food was excellent (maybe not authentic Mexican, but close). Mixed plate of starters was very good. Nachos could have had a bit more cheese, but tasted alright. Enchiladas were the size of a lumberjack meal and very tasty. Highlight of the dinner were the Churros with ice cream and berries. Absolute must-have there!

The service is very good, the staff doesn't know very well English but they managed to take our order. All staff are very friendly. The food itself was average, some things are nice, some things were not so good. We recommend the teriyaki ducks and the sweet chili chicken. The draft beer is top notch. Overall, I recommend the place. Ps. They have a nice garden :)

Went here for 4 evenings on a school trip. Lovely place, owner and his father in law put a lot of effort into decoration, plants, atmosphere. Then the food, just great. All fresh, cocktails, vegetarian options, meat. This is the place to go to when in st. Pölten. It shows since it's full Almost all evenings. Thanks for the hospitality from the Netherlands.

Schade, so verkrault man Kunden wirklich.
