I work at Rivergate, so I usually go there to eat healthy food, and the food quality is okay, but also not stable, especially when there is the lunch rush things get forgotten and it shows.
Yesterday something happened that made it clear to me that it would be the last time I eat there. I used the self-service device to place my order, but there was no pager available. I asked the staff how to obtain one, and they instructed me to take a pager from the designated area where people return them after their food is ready. So, I took pager number 5 and after a few minutes, it beeped, indicating that my food was ready. I picked up my meal intending to eat it with my colleagues in the food court.
As I was searching for my colleagues, I realized that they had given me the wrong food. I had ordered beef, but I received a dish with chicken instead. Frustrated, I returned to inform the staff about the error. A woman at the counter started yelling at me, accusing me of taking someone else's food. In an attempt to prove that I hadn't stolen anything, I showed her my receipt, clearly indicating my order. However, she continued to be impolite, aggressive, and insisted that my number couldn't have been 5. She was essentially calling me a liar, even though she didn't explicitly use that word. Despite my repeated attempts to explain that my number was indeed 5, and that I received the wrong food, she continued to yell at me. I couldn't understand why she was being so confrontational, especially when it was clear that I wouldn't deliberately order beef and then take someone else's chicken. When requested for replacement , the blond with the botox face threw a fit , removed Rucola from her gloves on my bowl and me being still conscious requested her to please make a new one or else it’s ok and she purposely just didn’t want to , she wouldn’t add avocado either and started throwing things in the bowl making faces and throwing fit . The other two colleagues didn’t help either especially the Asian man who could have just told her to stop being so unkind . Then she made a new bowl and stumped it hardly on the counter . Makes me imagine is this how they treat people if they suffer with pain due to allergies in front of them . Don’t you have any basic humanity or morals or is that few euros above everything than a person‘s life ? Grow some empathy and heart . I told the Asian man they are rude and never coming here again . Das Personal ist leider großteils eine Katastrophe. Heute waren wieder drei absolut ahnungslose Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke. Ich habe vollstes Verständnis, wenn EIN Mitarbeiter eingeschult wird und noch nicht so genau weiß, was er zu tun hat, aber irgendjemand sollte doch den Überblick haben. Heute war es reines Chaos.
Ich habe über das Terminal bestellt und zum Mitnehmen ausgewählt. Das wurde übersehen und dann einfach inklusive dem Dressing vom Teller in den To-go Behälter umgefüllt. Das Auge ißt bekanntlich mit und für 12 Euro erwarte ich mir Essen, das auch optisch ansprechend ist. Bei der Dame hinter mir das gleiche Problem: sie wollte es mitnehmen, aber es wurde ebenfalls bereits im Teller hingestellt. Eine weiter Kundin, die vor Ort gegessen hat, hat reklamiert, dass sie ihr Getränk noch immer nicht hat, woraufhin ihr gesagt wird, dass sie es sich ja selbst nehmen kann. Das mit den Getränken ist übrigens seit Jahren ein Problem, was ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann, da das Getränk ebenfalls auf dem zu bearbeitenden Bon aufscheint und das auch bei McDonald’s problemlos funktioniert.
In letzter Zeit war es eine Spur besser, was mir Hoffnung gegeben hat, da ich das Essen sehr gerne mag. Heute überlege ich, ob ich mir das jemals wieder antue.
