Wir waren zu dritt hier und das Lokal ist wirklich nett. Ich hatte eine Leberknödelsuppe (die Suppe war leider sehr wässrig und hatte wenig Geschmack), einen Schweinsbraten (war okay, das Fleisch war schön zart) und als Nachspeise Topfenpalatschinken (sehr dicker Teig und auch die Vanillesauce war eher ein Pudding als eine Sauce). Alles in allem ein nettes Lokal mit durchschnittlicher Küche, aber sehr nettem Personal.

We had to wait for food for really long time. Ordered pancakes were too thick (partially raw inside), extremely sweet and the dinnerware was old and partially damaged. Also our clothes got permeated with the smell of old oil. Staff...

Oldschool at its best! In Zeiten wo fast alle auf modern, hip und zeitgeistig machen (mittlerweile offenbar der einzige Weg einen neuen Betrieb zum Erfolg zu führen) sind diese Lokale äusserst selten geworden. Das Häuserl am Himmel schaut genau so aus wie die Ausflugslokale meiner Kindheit. Drinnen weht der Wind der 80er Jahre, draussen sitzt man auf den typischen Plastiksesseln. Auch das Speisen und Getränkeangebot biedert sich null an aktuelle Moden an. Ehrliche, gute Hausmannskost ohne irgendeinen Firlefanz. Der Wirt ist extrem freundlich und immer für einen kurzen Plausch zu haben. Die Preise sind mehr als fair...wie gesagt: solche Lokale sind selten geworden.

Fazit: Ein sympathisches No-Nonsens Ausflugslokal...
