A cozy little corner restaurant in Vienna's northwest region that is owned and operated by a transplanted Romanian couple over 25 years ago (cash only). Serving up the best food and finest organic beer Vienna has to offer. Stefan and Daniella are the sweetest people we encountered throughout our travels in Wein, and he is happy to chat if you're interested in learning more about his life. The schnitzel is top rated and authentic, and the best I've had, but schnitzel is too bland for my taste. I ordered his specialty - GOULASH!! Oh my gosh, absolutely divine and packed with a rich character that's unmatched in my travels through Europe so far. While the location isn't terribly convenient from the city center, it's a short 12min tram ride away, and gets you away from the hustle and bustle. Love love love this cozy little nook. Desperate for a good meal after a long day of travel we decided to try the Hernalser Presshaus. The owner, Stephan, who also cooks and serves along with his wife, greeted us and quickly prepared a table for the 6 of us. From the minute we arrived until we finished our delicious meal and paid our bill, Stephan made us feel welcome. Most of us ordered his house specialty, goulash. Has been there few days ago. Great place to enjoy great evening. Food are beautiful and very tasty. Good customer service, we had great discussions with waiter which are also owner.
