Vom ersten Moment an spürten wir die herzliche Atmosphäre, die tief verwurzelte Tradition und diese ganz besondere wienerische Gastfreundschaft, die einem das Gefühl gibt, willkommen und umsorgt zu sein.
Die historische Kulisse, die liebevoll gestaltete, offene Terrasse, das sanfte Abendlicht und die idyllische Gartenumgebung schufen eine Stimmung, die die Seele berührt. Es war ein Abend, der uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
Die Speisen waren ein Gedicht. Jedes Gericht spiegelte die Qualität und Sorgfalt wider, mit der hier gekocht wird – von den knusprigen Wiener Schnitzeln bis hin zu den zart geschmorten Fleischgerichten, ergänzt durch frische Salate und hausgemachtes Brot. Alles war nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch liebevoll angerichtet – kulinarischer Hochgenuss auf höchstem Niveau.
Die Weine? Erstklassig. Besonders die frischen Weißen und die charaktervollen Rotweine aus dem eigenen Weingut zeigten, welch großartige Qualität hier geboten wird. Und auch das hausgebraute Bier verdient eine besondere Erwähnung: kühl, ausgewogen, unverwechselbar – ein echter Genuss an einem warmen Sommerabend.
Der Service war herausragend: aufmerksam, freundlich, professionell – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt, alles lief reibungslos und unaufdringlich charmant.

THE MOST RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY WAITER! NEVER AGAIN! Dear lord, I very well know that Vienna is famous for its not so friendly waiters, but this was really the most unbelievably rude waiter I have dealt with! As we enter the restaurant, he was standing there staring at us with an egressive frown, almost shouting at us if we have a reservation. When my friend tells him he can ask this a little friendlier, he was again semi shouting with his eyes popping out of his head, saying he is not being unfriendly! 🤦🏽♀️ We were utterly disgusted by his behavior and he made all of us (we had a friend visiting from Spain and she was just in shock how he could treat us like that for no reason) feel utterly unwelcome (which is ridiculous when you think of it, waitstaff are like the hosts of a restaurant, they should welcome customers in instead of barking at them before they have even said a thing!). So we luckily didn’t spend our time and money on this disgraceful waiter and went to another restaurant, 7 minutes away, with lovely staff and amazing food (Gelbmann Gastro). Hidden Gem with Outstanding Austrian Cuisine
Heuriger 10er Marie is an absolute hidden gem on the outskirts of Vienna! We had an unforgettable dining experience, enjoying their incredible buffet selection.
The crispy pork belly was simply amazing—perfectly crunchy on the outside and bursting with flavor, especially with their delicious sauce. The blood sausage was out of this world, rich and perfectly seasoned. But the true star of the night was the Surschnitzel—deceptively simple yet packed with flavor, delivering an explosion of taste in every bite.
We also tried the Gedünsteter Zwiebelrostbraten, which had a unique and captivating flavor that intrigued us. And to top it all off, their selection of local wines completely blew us away, pairing beautifully with the meal.
