If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than this incredible Turkish restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even though we don't speak German. Their ability to communicate in a friendly and clear manner made ordering a breeze, and their patience truly stood out.
Now, let's talk about the food—absolutely brilliant! The meat was nothing short of sensational. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned, and was succulent and juicy, cooked to perfection. It’s clear the attention to detail in each dish is exceptional.
Every course was a true reflection of Turkish culinary mastery. From the rich appetizers to the perfectly spiced main courses, the food exceeded all expectations. The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and wonderfully balanced, creating an experience that lingered long after the meal.

Read moreI always stay in Favoriten, just around the corner from Közde. What can I say? It's the place I usually go to when I'm hungry and unsure where else to go because I know I'm guaranteed a good meal that I'll enjoy. The Turkish guys are very hard-working and passionate, even though during the summer the heat in the kitchen is unbearable. For value, you'll receive a generous portion always. I like their döner, but personally I would recommend asking for dürüm instead of the baguette. Sometimes I go there just to collect some fries to go with something I'm cooking at home instead. Fries are 3.50 but the portion is enough for 2 or 3 people. I don't usually sit inside since I live nearby, but the interior is definitely more favorable than Ferhat (which is often considered the best in the area)
The food is excellent, and so is the customer service and value. They probably speak English, but usually I order in German so I'm unsure. Just rehearse your order in German, but I'm sure you'll be okay using English too.
I'm sure you will enjoy...
Read moreKebabs were great! Service was comically bad. It was like it was the first night all the wait staff had ever worked in a restaurant. Just half a dozen headless chickens running around. We ordered dessert and after 30 minutes of it not arriving we assumed it had been forgotten so we asked if we could pay and leave but they told us dessert was coming. We said we didn’t want it anymore as it had been half an hour and we just wanted to leave. The waiter then ignored us so we couldn’t pay and leave. Dessert came 10 minutes later and we continued to be ignored until we walked up to the waiter at the front entrance and forced him to take our money. If I had to summarise my experience here it would be...
