Lucky Star — Restaurant in Vienna

UPDATE 2: After my move to this corner of Vienna, Lucky Star is slowly becoming my take-out of choice. Often, It's the small things, such as not pressing the egg fried rice and chicken, beef or w/e into a small cardboard box, and by placing the teriyaki or sweet-sour sauce in a separate cup instead of dumping it over whatever was ordered.

UPDATE: Take-out w. Sashimi, Maki, and Sushi. €14. Wenn perfectly with the the Hattori Hanso scenes (See Photo). Huge!

REVIEW: Cute little take-away with more than the typical greasy rice & chicken boxes. There are good assortments of maki, sushi, sashimi and other samples of Asian cuisine, most available in different sizes.

My sashimi was fresh and not stingy with the salmon, though I should have ordered extra ginger and wasabi. Regrettably, they seem not to have a liquor license, so I had to make do without my Tsing Tao beer.

They did very actively ask for my COVID vaccination credentials. They understood how the COVID app which I and many others use to document our two Astra-Zeneca shots works, and, when I told them I would eat there, they followed up by providing a table-specific qr-link to the web site which requires all customers to register...

This place is just amazing. I've ordered here randomly over mjam and got hooked instantly. They have very fair prices, if you go there personally you will pay around 4/5€ p.person und you get a lot ! You will be full for sure. The food quality is amazing too. I ordered fried rice with vegetables and fried chicken. The rice is spot on. Not too oily not too dry and has a lot of flavours.

I strongly recommend trying this restaurant out. At least the fried rice and Jasmin rice / tofu/ soups and sesame balls(they make those themselves too) I...

For a street food not bad ,I generally don't like eating bad oil and salty food outside ,the same plat of chicken vegetable at Westbahnhof station place tast better and bigger and cooked with its sauce not fried and the sauce is added like some ketchup on potatoes! And almost the same price, by the way ... the first time I dine in, I went home with smelly hair and my jacket smelled oil and had to go the the laundry, I don't advice sitting there, the air is full...
