The restaurant refurbishment inside is very nice and a great improvement on the previous brand "Gasometer Noodle House".
Unfortunately everything else the same as before: low quality food and mediocre service. So the old 3.9 star Google review of Gasometer Noodle House is more accurate.
I had the Shouyu Ramen and it was watered down, with barely any flavour. The cooking oil has clearly been used many times over. I didn't finish my Ramen. I thought I would flavour the ramen with spicy sauce condiment that was on the table, but then I noticed there was a dead fly inside the jar..
The other reviewer that rated the food 1 star is totally correct. The reason people are giving the food 5 stars is either because they don't know what real ramen should taste like or they are not independent reviewers.
The table service is rushed: no smile, no eye contact made, menus and food put in the middle of the table and servers immediately rush off to the next table. So you have to sort out who gets the correct food and drinks once it's on the table. Not a big deal, but certainly quite unusual at a restaurant charging these prices.
A cover charge of €2.20 is applied to the bill, it's not clear what that is for because you don't actually get anything.
