Pizzeria Bernado Wien — Restaurant in Vienna

Every. single. time. I order from this place, the delivery is always always incredibly late! The place is literally 8min away walking time from my address and yet it takes them not even 40mins (as mentioned on foodora) but 80 mins!

Foodora has a wrong number for their place by the way. The number on google is correct, but the staff at Bernardo’s is very unfriendly and a man told me on the phone they needed 90 mins for delivering my order and that they’d sent me a notification about it somewhere. But there was nothing about 90 mins anywhere — not on foodora, not in my email box, not a normal text.

Absolutely terrible, the only reason I ordered this time again is because their pasta is alright but suffering this whole waiting game reminded me why I shouldn’t ever order...

Super pizzeria a 7 or 8 min walk from the nearest tube (Keplerplatz) and tram stops. Busy when we visited on a Thursday evening with a single waiter buzzing around, a chef cooking pizzas on a wood fired oven & a lady working hard in the background. The waiter spoke perfect English and there was an extensive menu.

I had a Lucifero pizza which was perfectly cooked, stacked with meat, onion & cheese. My wife a vegetable lasagne (with chips !) which she said was the best she had ever eaten. Chips we could take of leave.

Great value with beer and coke for 35 euros.

Need to find time to pop back before we leave...

I just have opportunity to spend 10 minutes here with great people here in this restaurant. Had a cup of tea while I was waiting for pancakes to take away. Pancakes were delicious and full of filling - ice cream and Nutella. Cannot wait to have another chance to try other specialities from their menu , I am sure it is all very tasty and quality.
