I will explain this rating right away: it is my personal disappointment. I was overhyped by the reviews. I expected an authentic ramen experience, but it wasn't that. It us still a good asian restaurant, especially for bar.
🍜 Ramen was... good? It wasn't horrible, it was just OK. Tho, I would probably refer to it as "salt ramen". Meat was lacking texture and was too stiff. Topping was kind of oversalted, cold and juicy, which not always bad, but in this case it was. The soup itself was undercooked for a tonkotsu-men. It lacked deep flavour and most of it's taste was coming from topping. Isn't bad if you never tried a ramen before, but it is 3 stars for me.
🍣 Avocado rolls were actually not bad. Well-done rice and a right amount of avocado inside. Really can't complain about it. 5 stars for california rolls.
🍵 Oolong tea was nice. A good serving size, but luck of deep taste. Isn't the best oolong I had, but definitely not the worst either.
👨🍳 Service was good enough, tho there also are dome downsides to it. The waiter didn't recognise oolong tea when I called it oolong-cha. But it is a minor inconvenience, especially compared to the fact that they don't accept cards here.
💳 Beware, cash only!
Overall a nice place to spend time with friends, but not particularly good for its Japanese cuisine.
3.75/5 But I guess, 4 is deserved more than 3, so...
Read moreoverpriced everything(it’s an expected price for a restaurant but the food they give you does not cost that much, very few ingredients and it’s seen that all this ingredients are cheap as hell (but to be fair sushi rolls were actually great, as an exception)… ), extremely unfriendly staff AND it’s not written on a door that they accept cash only, neither they tell you this when you come in or call to make a reservation wich is kinda inconvenient.
Also, my friend had a birthday, and they took 2.5 € from each person for “plates” because we asked to bring out a cake at the end of a dinner to congratulate her. 10 € for just little plates and a brought out cake bought by us sound like a bad joke but it’s actually true… and they forgot to put one of a candles on a cake. The waiter who was in charge of this situation looked absolutely uninterested and dull. I’m disappointed, had zero desire...
Read moreNot real ramen. Instant noodles (literally) mixed with other asian cuisines. The rice is made on a instant pot and so on. Staff is nice. Place is well designed, clean and cosy.
This part is an edit after their response: I went for Japanese noodles, what you claimed for, not Chinese. If i wanted a Chinese version i would go to a Chinese restaurant. Regarding i don't know or tried many noodles, check my reviews and you see that I travel the world trying food (literally) including japan. I went for Japanese style ramen and you guys failed at that and in your response, everyone can see that you will not even try to improve and think your way is what it is and just pled guilty by what you tried to hide. No problem, who really knows, can spot real Japanese home made ramen what you don't sell. Who not, will give you 5 stars anyway because those don't really have a clue about what...
